I love the intros in this game for every level, that lady's voice its so haunting telling you what you are about to embark on and letting you know its gonna be no picnic, "the mighty Purlin",pissed at society because they got left behind,"The river of souls" a poisoned river so toxic the mere mention of its name will melt your face, "The blind ones", more pissed off people wanting you dead, shit , almost makes you scared to play the game,one of the best games ive ever played back in the day and now,a oldie but goodie for sure!!
You forgot about the humanoid bugs wanting to infest and eat everything on each planet starting with earth. Lol

@KJ2HVY Turok 2 on 360 was not trash. It was the same game, higher res, with better performance.
It is now remastered for ps4😉

I use to play on my n64 before school, I'd wake up at 5 am and played till 9am and go to school
This game has better hit boxes than most shooters today
The remaster gets weird with the hit boxes though thanks to the fact you can modify the Field of View and other aim settings.
Man, I remember that I was afraid to enter the graveyard zones and fight those sisters
The levels were so damn huge i never beat this game. Still love it to death though.
No current video game conveys such pleasure to play. What we have today is very graphic and little pleasure in the gameplay.

The music is nostalgia incarnate to me now. I remember playing it the first summer it came out, I was hooked for life. Just beat the remaster, still amazing.
Probably the best part of the whole game, since you get to ride a dinosaur with huge cannons on its back. Always wanted to be a Dino-Rider.
nice, glad this game still has people playing it even today. this game was one of the best fps's EVER. from the music, level design, gore, creature and enemy design, weapons and gameplay.... now if only Night Dive Studioes would kindly finish making the remaster :P

My favorite level, a memory core of my life is I played this after school, and there was a school something happening, long story short I missed it and was blasting my way through this level, I was a lame kid so I used the cheat, but damn is it still fun
I never even heard of this game when I had an N64 as a kid. Honestly never played any shooter on N64 until I got one recently. Turok 2 is one of the most addictive games I've played in awhile. Can't wait to play Goldeneye and Perfect dark after finishing the turok series cause I remembered having both those games as a kid and never really playing them.

I don't know if the developers did this on purpose or if it was a glitch or what, but if you turn off blood, the Undead Coming Out Of the Soul gate can't hurt you
Wow good player, I wish games were made this way now. Simple, fun, no worries on some over the top story or anything. Just fun addicting gameplay.

I only had this game for a few months in 1999 before trading it, but always lamented not having the patience to see more of it beyond Port Of Adia (which never looked hugely challenging even though I never made it to the end). Your playthroughs are more than enough consolation.

Of all the levels, this one has always been my favorite and i like its BGM😄😉.
I loved this game, the Atmosphere, the music and the action. You get the feel that you're hunting enemies of mankind, who happen to be walking lizardmen or some kind of dinosaur people. And in this level, you can't beat a good ol' shotgun. Besides, many corners seem to hold plenty of extra ammo for you.

Iconic game,Iconic stage and Iconic music, Had many sleepiness nights because of this back in the day.
I loved playing this game, it was large yet somewhat simple in design and had promise with combat and those games often turn the industry around. The only thing I had against this game was you couldn’t find holdouts of soldiers to rescue and follow you into combat and help you, until they die or you finish the level with them. But it’s understandable why that didn’t happen.
Hahaha me too! I wish I could've found and helped pinned down soldiers. That was my favorite part of the intro is seeing the soldiers in action.

Man, i love the War Blade. Due to the difficulty on aiming, it saves a lot of ammo...
It was a unique weapon concept for the time. It was a melee weapon that did actual damage; it wasn't an extremely weak weapon that punished the player for running out of ammo, like any other FPS at the time. In Duke Nukem, Doom, and even the original Turok, the "basic" melee weapons were completely ineffective. I don't think the idea of effective melee weapons really caught on until Call Of Duty.

The dinosaurs and monsters I hate in this game:
Raptors
Those yellow dinosaurs
The blind ones(all of them)
Those purple dinosaurs that swim
The tiny green dinosaurs that jump around you
Those worms with the long tongues(death marshes)
The nymphs(in the hive and Q. Boss)
Spiders
The big bug things with lasers on their shoulders that sound like monkeys when you kill them(in the hive)
All of the oblivion monsters

Note:arrows instant kill spiders, no matter the bow strength.
That game was great. But I actually hated the bullet delay and how hard the aiming is.
Great playthrough! If I were to add some advice though, I believe there's a way to get the Grenade Launcher in this level.
The grenade launcher over the poisoned water, it is possible to get it without Breath Of Life by jumping quickly, but it takes some practice.

Hello, I would like to know if the hardcore difficulty is feasible or just this one for people who know the game a lot. It's my first game and I don't know what difficulty to choose, I like challenges but it seems that hardcore is a way for players to know the game perfectly.

+Alekhine´s Defense Its one of the 6 Primagen Keys needed for the final boss. I get most of them in the final video (because they need something from later levels to get to them).

A good walkthrough, I donknow why you didn't bother with a lot of the life-force tokens but I was hoping you had gone to them all. You missed one very important spot where you could drop off two different sides of a edge and just about get two extra lives worth of the red tokens.
Are you playing this on PC or the N64? I ask because you make it look easy. Also, I tried to play this on the PC but it still felt very weird and stiff. For example, when I would walk up stairs, a ramp, or climb a ladder my crosshair immediately fixes itself directly ahead according to the slopes or the direction I'm traveling and that always threw me off.
+jleem21 I'm playing on PC. And yeah, thats just how the game is, and the mouse in general feels off. Its not a great port, but its best there is. There's no way to disable the slope thing either.

You missed one ultra health at the beginning of the level, the door opens by destroying the highest towers
