Thank you so much for my cute gift. It was totally nice meeting you.
Great idea. Thanks for showing how to easily do this.
Great job Darryl
Wow, that is a great idea. Great job.
I really enjoy your videos just haven't seen anything new from you in a while , but I know you prolly got a job , but keep up the great work
That's an awesome idea
Thank you!
Finally! Thank you so much! What a great idea to keep the cost low for pet urns.
Great idea! Nice job. I'll have to try that.
Brilliant - thank you
Thank you for doing this video. The last urn I made was a friction fit and with the brass fitting being hard to find or expensive when you can find them I have been debating on doing this for a while. Your video makes it easier now that I've seen it done. I'm going to have to check out more of your channel now.
Great job I've used this same kinda method on an urn works perfect. I haven't done it on my Channel but I'll be doing a video also at some point. Great job.
Thanks and I will be on the lookout for your video.
That really is brilliant. Glad I found this channel, I'll be checking out the older videos. And thank you for creating the content for us to watch.
Very nice 👏
Cool idea man!
Nice solution
Cool idea!!
Nice! Liked and subscribed!
Thanks!
Hi, I watch and enjoy a lot of Mike Peace’s videos. He mentioned your site and I was interested in checking it out. He was right, your presentations are very interesting and well done. I’m a relatively new turner with about a year under my belt. It’s been fun and rewarding. I struggle with certain areas of the hobby, which is normal. Watching videos like yours helps a lot. For me see is the best part. Thank you. I’ll be watching. Roger D.
Hello, just found you while looking for a fairly simple way to incorparate PVC threads into the top of a wooden urn. This is great, very well done and explained perfectly. Thank you and saludos from Venezuela.
Great job showing just how easy using plastic threads is. I just double checked and I am subbed and have the bell on. I don’t, however, get the notifications that you’ve put out a new video. Maybe I will mow that I watched this one. I’ll never understand the YT algorithm.
Great idea for sealing an urn rather than chasing threads.
That is very cool, and not something that I would have ever thought of doing. Nice job.
Have done the same thing. Was unable to find any more brass fittings so gave this method a try. Works well and you do a good job and explain the process well. Didn’t figure it was original but this is the first time seeing anyone develop this solution Thank you.
Talk about prophetic. I just bought Moretoes 36pcs 4oz Metal Round Tins Aluminum Empty Candle Tins with Screw Lid from amazon due to the high cost and limited availability of threaded insets for boxes. I might learn thread chasing eventually, but not right now. I didn't think about using PVC fittings for this and haven't gotten a chance to try out the tins. I will be cutting the threaded sections free similar to the way you did the PVC. The fact that the tins have a bottom and a top, as well as how thin the metal is will present more of a challenge than the PVC I suspect.
Anyway, nice video. I will be using this as a reference for when I get the chance to try my idea.
Great idea and your explanation of the process was very well done 👍🤠
I know they make brass inserts but this would be way less expensive and just as easy to do great video 👍🏻👍🏻
A really interesting idea. Thanks for sharing your methodology.
What a great idea! Thanks for sharing that. Enjoyed as always, Dave.
Thank you! Really can use this, again thank you for demonstrating.
Darrell, freaking awesome idea!
That is awesome. Will definitely be giving this a go some point. Thanks for sharing.
That looks like a way I could make a threaded box. Like the looks of the box so far, not sure if I'm using the right name but a segmented box
Niiiicccceeee
Great idea and demonstration!
Thanks for sharing. Going to try your method.
