This guy lived his passion. Some people go through life being ruled by fear, too scared to love and enjoy life. No one has tomorrow guaranteed, he was 28 when he died, but he lived fearlessly.
Diederik van der Laag true! everything he did on his board looked good. for sure Dylan is skating wherever he is now, nothing can stop a spirit like his.
He was true blue. Met him in 2012 in Glendale, AZ. Had no attitude, wasn't stuck up, and just talked for like ten minutes with me. Took a photo and bounced to the bars at Westgate. Wish I could post the pic on here. Forget SOTY. Dylan was the best skater of the decade. RIP Dylan.
This video this song this poetry in motion hit me so hard it made me go back to skating just for the sake of skating... Just for the beauty of it.... I got my 360 flip again
I met him in my local bar in Berlin . Such a beautiful soul and guy. He was so chilled and friendly ..thinking back about this time in 2014 makes me sad and happy same time . Love u d
Dylan's style is something that, for me, defines skateboarding. You know you've found something you truly love when you can't describe it with words and, for me, that's skateboarding. Some call it an art form, others call it a sport or a hobby... I call it 'my life'.
F yeah dude. 43 years old and I still skate at least 2 times a week minimum. I don't go crazy and go for it like I did when I was in my teens /20s but just going out and doing flatground /curbs or the occasional ledge. Keep pushing man, we love it
This one gives me tears, 15 years ago I've battled with bone marrow transplant like Dylan, he was and still is my favorite skater hands down.. felt so sad when I've heard what happened. Rest in peace Dylan
It's really hard seeing someone you looked up to and based yourself off of pass away at such a young age and effect so many people, Skate in paradise you beautiful man.
I go back to this every once in a while. Love watching him skatin that style of him is one of a kind. Honestly I'm a frustrated skater and don't i wanna be a pro someday I just want to skate cuz I love it and Dylan is one of the reason why
Dylan Rieder is immortal for me and I'm sure for many people. When I ride my skateboard and make a beautiful and style trick, I remember Dylan and this push me to do the ride. Rest in peace legend
We're all so lucky to have been blessed by Dylan's presence. It still makes me sad that such a strong, talented, and charming human was taken from this world as such a young age.
i practicaly never heard about Dylan before his dead and its sad because he was probably the most talented skater of our generation. Rest in peace Dylan Rieder.
I think the coolest and biggest takeaway I ever had with viewing and watching Dylan’s skate sesh and interview clips was how much he made me want to be more of myself than anyone else. RIP Big D, hope you’re skating in heaven.
His few years at the top of his game were as prolific and memorable as any pro career I can think of. I find myself amazed every time I come back to his videos.
I've only been skating for 3 month. found this video and fell in love with this guys. didn't realise he passed away until yesterday. not Og enough to appreciate this skater back in the day but fuck this video gives me goosebumps overtime
I really like how best the latter of his career he started to get more technical and did more manuals while still clearly having transition skills. So good.

I don't think I've ever become melancholy watching a skate video before... This is a first.
Thoughts on it now? Or this clip?
A true vagabond.
CHeck Jerry hsu: Bag of suck. It’s a different style, but is also extremely captivating. (Especially with the amazing music)
