Very common for this issue to occur in Priuses but it seems this customer replaced wishbones, anti roll bar links etc as most people and garages do this. Simply replace the D shape rubber mounts or put in a spacer which tightens the mounts and never wears out, we do this on a daily basis to all of our taxi driven Priuses.

I had the exact same noise in my 2010 Prius but it turned out it was actually struts making the noise but since I already changed struts and sway bar links, I thought I should better replace bushings too as they are very inexpensive parts. I used Monro brand for struts and Moog for links and bushings as they appear to be one of the best on the market. I followed exactly the same they did and it worked out great. it took me around 5 hours to get the whole job done. Although bolts of the cover metal right below the bushings were tough to open due to rusty surface, it was still not difficult to get the job done. Down below I saw one comment asking whether you gotta remove sway bar link to do this job. Well, not entirely. As shown in the video, you just need to loosen the lower bolts of sway bar links in both sides to make some wiggle room for sway bar cause if you can't move the bar little bit up and down then it'd be very tough removing the bushings and installing new ones. Finally, THANKS A LOT for this useful video as it is the only one showing how to DIY the Prius bushings on RUclips.

Very impressive. I have been searching for a video like this one for some time. I was about to replace the sway bar end links ($84/each from Toyota) when I found this video. Thank you so much and thank you for wearing gloves. Wish my Honda Accord used the same design. Those cars you have to drop the sub-frame to get at the bolts.

i get a weird squeak noise in my 2014 prius. it's not a squeal. just a quick squeak that happens randomly with no pattern. almost like something is engaging on/off. it seems to happen more often after i've driven and then stop at a light or in a drive thru line.
