Exactly same as my LC200 done through VEOP in Brisbane - full DMW Build and engineering although DMW inspect and sign off! Now waiting for the new LS16 revision to get it to the 7990 GCM - happy days!

Just for info from a gvm upgrade regarding insurance, spoke to my insurance company, all they require is the sign off from Regency Park / engineering certificate and they will then include the modifications upgrade to my insurance to cover the car.
My only concern with a GVM upgrade is the the roof is a R.O.P.S roll over protective structure. Is that roof designed to take an extra tonne in the advent of a roll over? If not and I doubt it would it will just pancake crushing everyone inside. I have never seen this issue raised. If you could provide an answer that would be really appreciated. Awesome rig btw👌

@@adamsurf76 I am getting the DMW 4499kg gvm upgrade, it gives you the 7999kg GCM but your still can only tow 3500kg. But in saying so with the new changes to GCM and gvm upgrades in QLD that will flow to the other states it sets us up to for a overall GCM change.
I am so jealous I live in Dubai I have a Y62. I love them.However we don’t have anything close to your set up here. The best we can do is simple mods. We can’t get the bumbers

I have been told by my dealer in caloundra that they won't allow a pre rego gvm, as Nissan has told dealers it is not legal any more and can't be done.
Hi, good info thanks. Seeking feedback relative to front radar. I’ve had my car GVM upgrade SSM by another company. Very happy so far with results. So no drama there. I am having trouble though with my front radar. Partial obstruction warning keeps coming up randomly. No particular pattern as to why. I have taken to Nissan dealer who gave feedback that it’s because the car has been lifted. (Therefor not giving any assistance) Tough dog springs so quite typical height. 40mm. Do you guys encounter the front radar partial obstruction issue at all due to lifts?? If so do you have a work around or just live with it.
@@DASHOffRoad an uneven lift will have everything to do with it, the forward looking radar needs to be at the exact same angle as when the vehicle was at OEM specs, this should be measured and adjusted after the lift is fitted. Usually this is 0deg on a flat surface, some adjust to -1deg to -2deg to account for fuel and passenger loading
I need to replace the ball joints on my Patrol Y62 2013 model. Any recommendation for a reliable brands? I've been having trouble finding a good one, except for Roadsafe, which unfortunately only offers front ball joints. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!
@@DASHOffRoad I have purchased a SuperPro bush set for all arms, but unfortunately, I havent thought of the ball joints. Now, if I decide to buy the OEM arms, these bushes will be wasted, unfortunately.

I think you’ll find any standard vehicle doesn’t have any sort of “rops” rating and in a roll over the roof just squash’s anyway.
@@shanenorwell8580 whatever protection it may provide is certainly diminished if not nullified by adding another tonne.

Lift hasn’t got anything to do with it.
