- A driver in Arizona is being praised as a hero for saving the life of an ambushed state trooper on Thursday. Police say a suspect shot the state trooper who had stopped to investigate a car crash on an interstate west of Phoenix. A man driving by came to the trooper's rescue and ended up killing the suspect. DeMarco Morgan reports.

He was to blame for the shooting.

There were two heroes in this story, the man that got his gun killing the suspect and the man that got on the trooper's car radio and called in for the helicopter.

So The only way America is in real danger is if somehow the world allies together against America and then the war will be over in 1 day before any marines ever show up on your beaches. With today's technology If someone ever invades America it will only be after they've already won so your civilians won't ever get the opportunity to fight.

One thing I notice when police bodycam shows them approaching black men is the "f'ing" word being used consistently. With George Flyod the newly fledged cop had the gun drawn and shouting those words, not for a violent crime in action or someone fleeing, no, Floyd was sitting in his car. For other citizens you hear the word too sometimes but where there is violence involved by the suspect. There is this expectation that if you are black and male, this is a better response, 15 or 50 years old

This guy was in my Battery in Afghanistan. He was a cool dude. The State Troopers offered him a job and gave him a commemorative .45 for saving the troopers life.

“The suspect was still on [the trooper]. I yelled at the suspect to get off him. The officer said 'help me please.' The suspect said, 'shut up," said Yoxall.

Even as a pacifist, I actually agree with this because guns can actually be the reason for stopping people from dying because being shot at is a scary idea, it has the possibility to make the criminals give up without hurting anyone.

Wow! This is the first time I'm hearing about this one. That man is an absolute hero! The other passerby did awesome too. I hope the officer has fully recovered and by now has been able to meet the man who saved his life. Amazing!
Private citizens stop millions of crimes per year with the legal responsible firearm use, unfortunately we rarely hear these stories that are 100x more common than a bad guy with a gun.
