Mine worked fine until the battery died. After I replaced it, the safe would just pop open when you push the start button. Couldn't get through to the company by phone and they refuse to answer emails. NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT.
This vault eats up the 9v battery even when not in use. I have placed a new duracel battery and not open it for a few months and when a i try the battery is dead. Just terrible.
Installed one in my Tundra (Drilled and Mounted in console) and it quit working within 6 months. Yes I replaced the batteries. Zero support from GunVault when I called in. Rep I talked to said "maybe it doesn't like cold weather". At least the key still worked but it was useless for the purpose I needed it for

Mine broke the same way aswell
But I'm in california so the cold weather stuff is bs
The manual of this product is awful.
Awful manual and totally unreliable access. Thank god I've never needed to get into this "safe" in a hurry.
