Tesla Service Center quoted almost $1000 to replace the lamp and ballast. Turn's out it just needed a new bulb. Silly service center.

Thanks for the video. I just bought a 2016.5 P90D and noticed one of my LEDs turning slightly yellow. I plan do replace it myself but not sure if it makes a difference which version I replace it with... does it matter? does base and level up fit all models?

I replaced mine with a 2020 one ( I have a 2016 90D and they too began looking yellowish 🤷‍♂️🫠

If the base model is the one with the matrix headlights why are they cheaper than the up level?

Hmm I don’t think the BASE headlights mean that, no where close to anything “matrix”. It has something to do with the upper lights and they are both LED.
