My car starts up fine and then makes a weird grinding noise for two seconds right after startup, and then goes away. @@stkbloc9717 Ha yes! It was somewhat COVID related. ;). I let the car sit without driving it for over a month while isolating in the house. My neighbor jumped it and it was fine.
I got the machine gun noise but my battery is good
Hi Andrew, there could be something else going on with your starting system. We would recommend getting your vehicle checked out by an auto electrician. If you are local to us, please feel free to contact us directly on 1300 227 353 or info@amae.net.au.
Only click no start but can roll start only
Just before the engine starts and the cranking sound happens my car does that for like 10 seconds and I’ve had 3 batteries in less than 2 tears
We'd suggest taking your vehicle to be checked out by an Auto Electrician for an inspection of the starting system.
If your car is decently old then my guess would be a bad starter motor. They have brushes that wear out over time and then it requires more and more effort to get the engine started. They can be cheapish to buy and if you're handy you can usually replace it yourself. Good luck!
My Toyota Camry 2017 made that Machine gun sound and the break is stiff

Mines a humming noise all the way until I turn the key off 2007 Camry 4 cylinder
Hi Faus_XV10. Best to get it checked out by your local mechanic!
Shit mines the second one. How do I fix it?
Hi, thanks for your comment. Unfortunately it’s hard to diagnose these type of enquiries over the internet. We recommend you take it into your local mechanic or auto electrician for an inspection.
Info starts off at 1:02.
Thanks
What if it’s just the sluggish sound?
What did it end up being? I assume you’ve figured it out in the last 8 months 😁
it matched my car I know it's battery
New battery!????
Possibly?
@@accelerateoffgridtouring can you check my channel I’m add the noise make now on neutral and tell me what the problem battery 🔋 or relay starter
Mine just did the sluggish sound. Each attempt made it even more sluggish. Then it did the machine gun sound. I hooked it up to another person's battery and tried the jump start but it didn't work. Is it possible that it is too flat to be jump started?
I'm having a Similar issue. After my car sitting for a month without driving I've got it hooked to a battery charger but it's still making the sluggish noise after about 6 hours now. It was completely dead.
Every time I fix my car there’s a new problem 🙃
Hope you get it all fixed up soon! 👍
