Hi guys, great vid, but UK 3-pin sockets charge at 2kW to 2.3kW max, and a typical home wall box charges at around 7kW. Some home wall boxes can go higher, but they are rare.

I charge my i3 with the 3pin socket at night. Even 2KW X 12 hours = 24 KWh, enough to fill my battery once every week.

Nice to be in a $130,000 flagship car - how about doing this in a 'normal' car, one that most people can afford. Do the range and charging times transpose to smaller, more affordable vehicles?

Go have a coffee, no problem. Go to a interstate gas station, say, in a place on I 75, say during a holiday, and watch the turnover of cars. Reality to wait 30 minutes per car is actually comical and funny to think about! But hey, just saying, make the coffee shop much bigger!

If you're making a podcast about EV and putting it on a BMW platform, get the facts straight.
No matter how much power the HPC chargers have, it is always limited by the charging capacity of your car.
It is because of such misleading communication that many people stay away from EV.
I drive the iX1 and am very satisfied with it, but I have studied the EV matter and am very aware of the pros and cons before my decision was made.
