Hey Nicholas - our area of expertise doesn't extend into PA much beyond some of the freshwater fisheries in southern parts of the state so you may be able to find better resources than FishTalk for this specific topic, but that said, the Delaware River does get a run. We're honestly not sure just how strong it is these days, tho. Good luck!
I believe this is the fish making a clicking noise against my retention wall. At night just after sunset I hear clicking and I can see a massive fish. Gray and shiny. But can't make out what it is. Not interested in any bait or lures I have. Runs off on the first cast
I will catch them but will not eat them. My grandparents and my parents ate them if I bought them home. I don't remember them being sold in stores and we used to give them away. They don't taste bad per se just fishy, and the bones are no fun. Not much fight but still fun to catch and release.

Why put sinker on bottom? Ive always used a 3/4 inch torpedo weight attached to line coming from pole and add 2 ft 10lb leader then willowleaf at end
