Philip, would you do a video about how you repair broken things? My mother had beautiful china from Europe growing up. She was heartbroken when a piece broke. I glued several pieces back together again, it was before super glue, so I would truly love to learn how to do this! My glueing at 8 & 10 years old was not very good! Michelle
Good job with gluing the platter, Philip! I’m sure that if you were there when Humpty Dumpty fell off the wall, you would have been able to put him together again ... even when all the king’s horses and all the king’s men couldn’t 😁.
Pat thank you so much! Those words do not convey the appreciation of your present. The moccasins look so beautiful and I so appreciate the time and expertise you spent on them. I shall wear them with great pleasure honour and thankfulness for this unique gift!
Isabelle Of all the wonderful souls I have seen at La Lande, your viewpoint and matter of explaining your thoughts strikes something in me and I wanted to send you something I love and am proud of.
Hello Michael! I have to tell you that at 81 y/o, old age is like a tape recorder....the closer you get to the end, the faster the tape reel goes....hahahahaha Enjoy you time here, it is wonderful and fast moving!
I just love the way that Micheal’s reaction to his gifts is clearly genuine. It is such a pleasure to witness his joy as well as his very real thankfulness
Stephanie and Michael are both so adorable as individuals and they're fabulous when they get together. Two very talented, yet modest and genuine people. So exciting to see Michael at Lalande ❤❤❤
One of my dearest friends was from Ohsweken - he often told me about making his moccasins. Sadly he passed away before I had a chance to get him to teach me his skills. Isabel will find them very comfy to wear. Lovely gift.
given the terribly sad discoveries that have been made at residential schools for aboriginal children in canada over the last few days, this gift is truly an honour. 215
Really a special gift those moccasins!!! Wow! Treasure them! They will mound to your feet and fit you like a glove!!! And last forever!!! Moose hide is very string! Lucky you!!!!
All of the gifts were so beautiful as usual, but Mummy really hit the jackpot with those gorgeous moccasins! Now that is real craftsman and something to be very proud of and we all know that Isabelle will wear them with pride, love and respect! I hope that this craft is continuing to be taught.
Michael looks fantastic in this vlog. His chiseled face and those intense blue eyes and his hair cut; all put together make him look amazing! Come on Michael, Why aren't you modeling?? What a Face!! Let's see some Headshots on "Doing It Ourselves"
Grand Lady, from The First Nation, How talented you are! The yellow moccasins you made for Isabelle look so comfortable! Take Care. Jenny from South Africa, Johannesburg...
Just a little tips to people sending breakable things, so they hopefully arrive intact. Wrap each piece in several layers of boblewrap (about 3-5 layers). If it has a stem or small things sticking out ie. ears, wrap that extra well. Make sure nothing is touching each other and that there is atleast 2 inches/5 cm clearing on all sides. And fill the box with packing materials like newspapers so there isn't any room to move, but not pack it so tight that it won't cushion.
Stephanie and all! Greetings from Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA. I am binge watching all your pgms. just click what ever comes up next. (and I hit like and watch ads in full to help you). Love em. 1st: ( I think CAT and Selma would make a great pair...just sayin'! )Also: as a retired narrator... Please consider Mummy doing a narration on history of Chapel, as well as Chateau. It can be put up on wi-fi for self-guided tours by visitors. You will cherish it!
Hello everyone hope you’re all having a lovely day or night .while I’m waiting to watch and cooling off from Hot Venice Florida .Also want to Thank all those who served Happy Memorial Day !
I hate missing premiers but my son and son in law were here after not seeing each other for 18 months. They have just left for the airport and I have Cadeau to cheer me up.
Thanks for another fabulous gift opening. I am always amazed by people’s generosity and thoughtfulness. Time for Michael to get his driver’s license and visit Lalande more often. Phillips kiss at the end was the icing on the cake. Thanks Stephanie ❤️🙏🏻
Missing Michael soo much these days! But I can see how he is helping in all the new stuff going on! ❤️ 💙 💜. ( My niece is part First Nation's & doing research on all the tribes & traditions being in her mid-20's & indeed those moccasins are a great honor being given & made by a first Nation's person.) Amazing! Loved all the gifts 🎁 💕 & how Stephanie & Michael are like with one another like perfect Siblings! 🥰. Soo cute. Phillips just great 👍 with them too. Lol ❤️
This channel sends waves of love across the world. The proceeds for charity are amazing and those two guys together with Stephanie are a joy to behold. Never seen Michael's eyes so sparkling and alive , incredible blue.
One of our family favorites is cheese on toast with mayo on the bread with fresh tomato under the cheese. It’s the best treat when the tomatoes are ripe on the vine.
Phillip... such a renaissance man... love the natural color of your hair coming back. It suits you much better! Welcome back, Michael! Another great video, Stephanie! You’ve kept me going through the thing that shall not be named! Bless you all. God be with you!
What lovely blokes ! Funny, talented & kind. Stéphanie, your videos are really my favs as everyone is so natural & it's as if we are with you. Bravo ma belle x
I’m proud to have spent the last 10 years operating Attractions at Disneyland, “The Happiest Place on Earth” and “Walt Disney’s Original Magic Kingdom” in Anaheim, California. Walt Disney World in Florida is a far larger place- it’s a massive resort, but there’s nothing like the magic of the original park, which changed the history of all Southern California and defined the theme park industry. We pack a huge amount of attractions and entertainment into a small space here in Anaheim, and there’s so many hidden corners and special details throughout. I love personally sharing what’s special about this place with my friends and family who have never been before. If Michael, Stephanie, or their family/volunteers et al come to California, please look me up. And if any other Chateau Diaries viewers see me in the park (perhaps riding my train at the Disneyland Railroad) be sure to say hello and we can chat about the latest vlogs!
Yes Anna, nothing like the original Disneyland, my first visit was in 1980, have been back many times and even though other parks are bigger you can't beat it... I remember the smell of the pine trees and how beautiful it is very early in the morning as you soak up the atmosphere before lots of people arrive for a day of fun! Best wishes from Australia 🦘
Great to see Philip saved the day, it's always a worry sending china. You may like to know, you can buy small bottles of ceramic glaze - I have mended pieces that have later been through the dishwasher without problems.. Great vlog as always! 🦘
Hey Anna My names Justine and I’m from New Zealand (and I’ve not yet been to the states). I dream of going to both parks you mentioned, and when I finally do I’ll definitely say hi if I see you. Who’s childhood hasn’t been shaped in some way by Disney and the beautiful world he created. I can’t wait to chat about the latest vlog in the place where your dreams come true 😻
Could the music box with 2 figures be Everybody Loves Somebody Sometime & not a Christmas tune? That's what I think I heard... Anyone else?? Enjoyed you 3 bantering together!
So lovely to see Michael and Phillip opening gifts from very generous followers:) they seem to have a great time together . Love Michaels face after eating the chocolate 🍫 xxx two of the classiest most handsome men on utube , an absolute delight hugs from 🇨🇦😘😘
Loving the Beatrix potter figures, they are very special. 38yrs ago my sons nursery was decorated in Peter rabbit. It was such a beautiful room. I drove 200 miles heavily pregnant to collect the room frieze .
I had so much ch Beatrix Potter for my daughter and we moved right before she left for college and I got rid of all of it but 1 teapot. Now, we are hoping to soon have a grand child and I could kick myself.
How could it have been the middle plate that broke in the box, and not the top and bottom ones??? Such beautiful gifts in this episode! I really enjoyed every moment.
Folks if you are sending breakable things from America, you need to pack a box within a box both well cushioned. The USPS is VERY rough on packages...if you cant throw it across a room and then jump on it with confidence....then DON'T SEND IT!! Im speaking from vast shipping experience.
There is China weld glue that doesn’t yellow over time. I love the music boxes, I have the full set of books in collector boxes. 🥰 I love the idea of the silky type tea bags but.....they make little particles of plastic in your tea. I cried when I found that out because I had a nice big tin of yummy tea and had to chuck them out. 😳
Sure does. Most of them I do especially for the charities but if they are too lengthy, I watch 3/4. I think they get paid if someone watches up to 30 seconds but I could be wrong
When you said ‘Phillip has repaired so many things here that have been broken’ I immediately thought that Lalande has done that for people too! 🥰
🥰
Philip is so talented at mending broken porcelain. It takes a good eye, a steady hand, and an amazing amount of patience.
Michelle

Ha!! Perfect.🧱
🤣
The moccasins are beautiful. Made me tear up to think of them made with such love and talent.
They are gorgeous! They look like they would be buttery soft. So beautiful.
Pat thank you so much! Those words do not convey the appreciation of your present. The moccasins look so beautiful and I so appreciate the time and expertise you spent on them. I shall wear them with great pleasure honour and thankfulness for this unique gift!

I love this-so true! I know, nearly 70 this year!!
It is a very very poignant time in Canada for indigenous children. 😢 the moccasins are so touching.
Michael is fading out. He's giving up. I can't imagine why.
Michael yes - stephanie no modesty
Phillip did an excellent job on gluing the porcelain platter!!
Receiving those moccasin made by a First Nations Person is a great honour.
One of my dearest friends was from Ohsweken - he often told me about making his moccasins. Sadly he passed away before I had a chance to get him to teach me his skills. Isabel will find them very comfy to wear. Lovely gift.
I was sooo jealous seeing that. Yes, such a great honor.
given the terribly sad discoveries that have been made at residential schools for aboriginal children in canada over the last few days, this gift is truly an honour. 215
So beautiful!!! Fabulous.
Really a special gift those moccasins!!! Wow! Treasure them! They will mound to your feet and fit you like a glove!!! And last forever!!! Moose hide is very string! Lucky you!!!!
Love seeing Michael at LeLande again...he is a bright star...Stephanie you must be so happy, as you look it!!!
*Lalande 🙂
I'm 58 and over the hill but it's such a pleasure looking at Michael lol..
Pat the moccasins are superb. What a wonderful gift. Bravo!!!
Philip looks like a French King ,I’d love to see him in costume ❤😊
The look in Michael’s face after eating the chocolate is priceless!
All of the gifts were so beautiful as usual, but Mummy really hit the jackpot with those gorgeous moccasins! Now that is real craftsman and something to be very proud of and we all know that Isabelle will wear them with pride, love and respect! I hope that this craft is continuing to be taught.
In our family many younger people are being taught to make them and the craft is going to carry on.
@@patriciajamieson9020 I am so glad to hear that! Thanks for sharing it!

Thank you. Great advice...
I swear by the Burts Bees lip care line. The pomegranate one is soooo moisturizing - and not tinted at all. The tinted ones are wonderful as well.
How are you doing?

My very first episode of any of the chateau channels I watch now was of Michael removing those huge curtains!
Yes!!!
For some reason I caught myself smiling until this episode ended.
I love your friendship with Michael. So sweet.
I confess, when I saw those beautiful moccasins for Isabel, I cried. What an honor.
Love you Michael! These incredible music boxes will have a lovely life in the cottage!
That bunting is absolutely gorgeous! It is going to look wonderful in the cottage.😍

little know diddy: Worchester sauce in Mexico is called Salsa de la Ingles, Sauce of the English
It is Worcestershire Sauce from Worcester.

I think the song playing in the “Christmas” music box is “Everybody loves somebody sometime” sung by Dean Martin
That would make a cool video.... all of you going to Disney Paris.
