Is the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe Better Than a Land Rover?

- The 2024 Santa Fe 3-row SUV features a wider, aggressive front grille, digital cluster, available HTRAC AWD and up to 271 hp. and so so much more. Under the hood of every Hyundai Santa Fe is a turbocharged 277-hp 2.5-liter inline-four engine. Front-wheel drive and an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic are standard, and all-wheel drive is optional.
The first thing I saw was the resemblance of a Land Rover, not just the profile but also on some of the interior features. The XRT trim level is not as capable as any Land Rover, but it does offer all terrain tires; higher ride height of 1.3”; comes AWD and gas engine only; 18” wheels on 30” tires and
black side mirrors which changes the look and its ability for over landing.

It aint hard to build a better vehicle than Land Rover, except Land Rover must be safer. It is difficult to get hurt driving your vehicle if your vehicle is in the shop.
Hyundai all safety features are standard. And there’s a lot more of them.

Test drove one, and I was kinda surprised by its low height in the cargo area. Although it's squared off, the hatch opening is actually not that big.
The low mounted tail lamps actually makes it look tall, but the roof line overall slopes down.
It was well appointed, comfortable and quick. But I don't trust the DCT for the long haul.
A friend of mine bought one and it looks sexy. Plus it’s really nice inside too.
Bought the hybrid SEL a couple of weeks ago. Like it so far. Lots of inside space and big upgrade from the Nissan Rogue I traded. Turns a lot of heads...not too many on the road where I live.

At the dealership when I was looking at the Santa fe, I was thinking that it would have been nice if the second row captains chair had a feature where it slid to the side. I'm waiting for the Hybrid to hit the dealers before buying one.

What do you think of the Matte paint maintenance for a mid priced SUV family purchase?
I love the look! You will need paint protection otherwise if you get a bug or a bee dropping on the paint and you polish it out or clean it out, you might cause a shiny spot.

I got the 2024 Santa Fe Ultimate Calligraphy and I’m wondering if it’s suitable for harsh off-roads due to it’s larger 21’ rims? Or is it possible to get XRT tires as an alternative for those off-roads?

That specific engine has a history, so far it’s been good
just change oil and filter at 700 miles, use full advanced synthetic oil from then on.

It is completely inaccurate that this car tracks the occupants and listens to conversations. 100% fiction and irresponsible to share such with your viewers.
The eye tracking uses 100% on board AI to detect a distracted driver. No data is recorded or shared out of the car.
You should research this before sharing false information.
my personal preference, keep third row out of the back and make more room for second row bench to move back more.
The title is a bit funny to me, being that most SUV’s in general, are better than a Land Rover. Land Rovers simply have too many electric issues and long term maintenance issues to even be worthy of comparison. They look great and when they do work, they’re excellent but everyone does that a problem free Land Rover is an exception, not the norm.
i was interested in the Santa when i first saw it, but now that I learn more about it I am beginning to dislike it especially with the upcoming Big Brother feature 👎🏾

I am not buying a turbo and not buying a hybrid. Very sad car makers give in to politicians.
I like everything about this car except I’m still not able to trust Korean cars in terms of reliability … another 2 reviewers on RUclips got a broken transmission after “27 miles”, but it has been replaced under warranty, otherwise it’s about $ 8,800 .. it’s a Dual Clutch Transmission which’s a common area of debate when it comes to its reliability anyway.

It's amazing inside but the exterior is pretty terrible. Such a shame they went so crazy with it. I think they'll regret that long term.
