The intro is why savagegeese is the superior car review channel
This is by far the best car review channel/show. No fan boi crap and just stacked with info.
Throttle House left the chat...... to come up with new intro's.
Funny. I was thinking exactly the same sentiment, that the intro singer was the cherry on top of a really great cake. Kudos to Savage geese for being the number one car review channel on RUclips, hands down.
Throttle house better for openings. But this one better for more in depth info
The into song begins with her honking like a goose😂 love the easter eggs😂
Can’t believe Hyundai brought back the Ford Flex

My brain started to melt when he said UV-C box to sterelise your things.

It's a gimmick for anything more than disposable items. Photodegradation is a problem, and this accelerates it

The rear of this suv looks like it was designed at 4:55 pm on a Friday.
If they just moved up the taillights it would look so much better. The back is atrocious.
Well the designers spoke on the matter, and I heard it was a decision to maximize the cargo space in the rear.
How Jack was able to talk normally during that round-about is peak Savage Geese.
Peak SG was the April fools video:) Nothing will peak that.. peak.
If you are considering this vehicle: don’t touch that 2.5t with the DCT. I’ve had nothing but problems and despite it having a good warranty, it’s hard to even get warranty work done with their shit service department. I’ve replaced 4 injectors and had the transmission completely replaced before 26k miles, and the new transmission already is showing problems. Oh, and I have another check engine light on for a bad injector. Just fucking don’t.
Hyundai/Kia powertrains are junk
Same problem with Genesis service - never again!
To be honest, I always rooted for Hyundai since the 90's but lately they been in hot water for many reasons. Also my wife has a 2018 accent that consumes way too much oil at low mileages still. Hyundai's service dept. does not want to do anything about it. Planning to get rid of it and get a Toyota.
Definitely avoid. Hyundai service does suck big time. My wife’s 22 Tucson needed to have the thermostat replaced at 20,000 miles. Dealership had no loaners so she needed to rent a vehicle. Took over a week before the part was even located! Horrible. Fingers crossed that nothing goes wrong with my Hyundai until my lease is up! When it does it back to Subaru or Toyota!
@@junitoortega8656 they have been in hot water ever since they came to america.
first for selling cars without chassis, then their engine quality.
all this covered over in fancy bling of interiors and warrantied that mean shit in the real world for those claiming them.
but americans...well, we supported walmart while they sold out to china, so we will buy anything that glitters cheaply.
I hate the trend of no back bumpers. Small bumps, rear end accidents are going to fuck the door up. Simple little fender benders are going to total these cars.
The blind spot radars and parking sensor array in question
@@Syncopia people are still stupid enough to screw up their driving with these safety nannies.
Same here , i thought it
Looked odd on EV’s but now every other new car has the No bumper design .
It looks like the sheet metal bumps out further than the bumper. The rear looks like it has been pre-crashed into a concrete wall.
hyundai KIA makes mostly throw away cars.
there are bunch of brand new looking hyundai cars in Junkyard. its unbelievable.
a small bump cloud total your hyundai . especially EVs.
DCT in a family hauler is beyond dumb. They should have used their 8-speed torque converter auto, which is plenty smooth and more reliable and simple.
Moms just creeping up inch by inch in traffic is bad for these.
I would guess their reasoning was the dct is more efficient because no torque converter loss, and it is shared with N cars.
I mean, a DCT could be the one thing that gets an idiot like me to buy a family hauler. It makes the driving experience 5x better. I’m just sad to hear of issues with reliability
This is wet dual clutch. That's a lot different than classic dry dual clutch.
Too bad they don’t honor their warranty, or they’ll wear you down by making you wait two months for a service visit
Listening to the intoxicating music, I think my wife's boyfriend must have inspired Hyundai, considering what it can do on the inside.
Well done.
Yall could review a dumpster without wheels and I would still watch it. Excellent work.
Hyundai/Kia vehicles ARE dumpsters with wheels so they're not too far off.
I'm still bitter after the 3.3 V6 in my Sorento required a $4,500 rebuild thanks to the timing chain tensioner failing at 70k miles. I was the second owner so I was not covered by their 100k powertrain warranty.
hyundai and KIA.😂
So a Cybertruck parked in Gary?
Reminds me of the Ford Flex. This is going to sell well for at least a few years
I saw a post-facelift Flex the other day for the first time in a while and forgot just how tight and elegant the design was. Had good bones underneath too. I bet there are probably more than a handful of original owners that feel like they got their money's worth.
Flex was the ultimate sleeper.
My parents own a face-lift Flex with the ecoboost V6, absolutely love it. I've driven it across the US multiple times loaded with 5 people, even up Pike's Peak, and it never broke a sweat. Quiet Comfy and weirdly quick. Excellent car that one!
Yep, it's backed by legendary 10-year 100,000-mile warranty. Reliability is backed by consumer reports and jd power. Haters can only hate because their junk can't compete against Hyundai-Kia.
For many years!!
The "lets get back to the lobby, to get ourselves a treat" hyundai theme x)
I really like how this vehicle has a back window that isn't a speck. Other manufacturers should take note - rear visibility is good.
Nothing is good about this vehicle..😝
Echo that! The trendy coupé-style SUVs look good but have terrible visibility out the rear.
Those children in Alabama sure make good cars!
Many Thanks to the Democrats for supporting the human trafficking networks to get the kids across the border.
Maybe they can do an apprenticeship program to teach the American brands a thing or two.
Not in quality or reliability lol
@@andersonrodriguez8258 My parents 16k mile Ford Focus with transmission problems begs to differ. My 60k mile Ford Contour also needed a new one. The Ford Freestyle made it all the way to 120k at least. I do like my fine crafted Italian Jeeps and Dodges tho 🤌
Reliability still sucks.
Thoroughly enjoyed this review. In depth, while not taking 45 mins to explain everything. Can't comment on the reliability or aesthetics, but respect the enthusiasm throughout 👍🏼
*Doug DeMuro did not like this
Hyundai-Kia is backed by legendary 10-year 100,000-mile warranty. Twice the warranty of Lexus. Enough said.
@@JohnLee-tb3nhIt says nothing. Long warranty doesn't change the fact that they've manufactured literally millions of vehicles that have risk of catching fire for various reasons. A long warranty is great, but a test of reliability and quality is how *little* you need to use that warranty.
Also, good luck with getting them to honor their warranty. Before the recall for seizing engines, they've been known for weaseling out of their warranties.

That interior is beyond impressive.
My long term experience with Kia/Hyundai products told me one thing. The money you save over a Toyota or Honda, you’ll end up paying that amount in repairs if you decide to keep it after the warranty ends.
All of my Kia/Hyundai products have been fine. Hyundai has learned from their mistakes…they aren’t going to be the same forever.
Lmao What experience? Had 3 Hyundais and never an issue besides bad paint quality on a 18 Elantra. Their service department is trash for sure and the experience isn't great but this whole Hyundai/Kia hate is childish and over blown. Not like Honda didn't have any oil dilution issues huh? New Toyota Tundras are pretty bad but no one bats an eye. Hyundai has its faults but they've been making good cars for a while now
@@MK3504 what experience? I had a Kia Rio and Rio5, a Forte, two Sorento and a Sedona. Also had a Hyundai Elantra and Santa Fe, from 2003 to today. Their reliability is inconsistent. My Rios were trouble free, while the engine blew up in one of my Sorento, and the transmission let go in the other. The Forte, Sedona and Santa Fe were good, while the engine in my Elantra began knocking at 30k miles. I’ve tried over 5 different dealers and never had the same experience. Some will serve you a coffee, some will straight up be mean to you like it’s your fault. All my cars have been maintained by the dealer and respected the maintenance schedule. History repeats itself since new Hyundai and Kia still have the same engine and transmission problems in some of their vehicles. The oil dilution issue from Honda or the problems on the new Tundra are at much lower scale than all the problems around Hyundai and Kia and at least, they’re doing something about it. I don’t remember Honda or Toyota being repeatedly under massive class action lawsuits and numerous recalls. Obviously, I’m not saying that ALL Kia’s and Hyundai are problematic, the same way your 3 good Hyundais doesn’t mean all Hyundais are good and people are lying.
Warranty? 😂😂😂
Toyota/Honda Warranty is only 5-year 60,000-mile.
Hyundai-Kia's warranty is 10-year 100,000-mile. I would never buy Toyota or Honda because their warranty is same as jeeps. 😂😂😂
@@MK3504The competition is scared. Hyundai-Kia doubled sales in only 20 years. Surpassing Honda +acura and stellantis in USA sales. Hyundai-Kia is going to run over all its competition to become #1. I would hate Hyundai-Kia too, if I was a competition.
Dealership experience aside, Hyundai is one of my favorite auto manufacturers. Making basically everything in house, from construction equipment to road cars, they basically have a manufacturing self contained city. The infrastructure or logistics alone to accomplish that is impressive. They have leaped bounds compared to what they were 10-15 years ago and they have figured it out. Now, the dealership experience is next on their list because that's a big turnoff.
Back in 2007 I bought a brand new Hyundai Sonata Limited that was a dealer demo with 8,000 very rough miles on it. How rough? The brakes were already shot, the front tires had serious wear (this thing would smoke the tires in manual mode) and my impression is that the young manager who drove this car beat the living snot out of it.
That said, I got the car for almost $6,000 off the nearly $24,000 MSRP sticker for an out-the-door price of $18,000. I got new rotors, pads, and tires, immediately changed all of the fluids, and have been driving it trouble free ever since. Granted, the fender panels are beginning to rust out, but I've been driving this sucker carefree for going on 17 years now, and it still runs like a frickin' top.
Can't really call it "brand new" if it had 8000 miles on it...
Yeah, that's legendary 10-year 100,000-mile warranty durability.

You guys need to drop the full length album 🔥
Love how they integrated the 1989 Geo Metro tailights to the Ford Flex.Nice job Hyundai.
And an additional cylinder compared with the Metro!
Let me start off by saying you guys are my favorite in the business. Always informative and entertaining. MY thoughts about this car is that it is really cool and a very unique option when comparing to the other alternatives out there. I currently have a 22 Kia Sorento S and I love it and wouldn’t trade it in at all…The one thing which I feel Hyundai missed out on was not giving us the less complicated power train. I have seen so many people drive a SE/SEL/XRT Santa Fe which has the NA 2.5 liter 4 cylinder paired with the torque converter 8 speed automatic. Price wise, it was a great power train and at the same time people who buy those cars, don’t change them ever so often and want them to last.. That power train isn’t the most exciting but it is adequate and the chances of you visiting the shop because of transmission or engine issue is WAY LESS than the wet dual clutch paired with a 2.5 turbo 4. Long term maintenance for a turbo (which you will eventually replace)and a wet dual clutch is more expensive. Car Confections had an issue with their power train already lol….I am part of a Sorento forum and the 2021-24 Sorento EX and above which shares the same power train as the 24 Santa Fe and there are so many people that have issues with it. Despite Kia releasing an updated Sorento, they still kept the less complicated power train and people don’t post having issues with that power train just saying haha.

Mark is right! Hyundai/Kia is in a great position right now since they do not hold any legacy names (Corolla, Camry, Accord, Rav4 etc.) so they can constantly update and go as crazy with the designs as much as they want without a big lost which they are doing great.
Love the AI Eva Cassidy intro
Hyundai seems to have done a great job with this. Lots of revisions in driving dynamics, interior quality, etc. I’d personally take the hybrid with the regular 6 speed auto, and great efficiency. Looking forward to the new palisade.

I'm not really into SUVs, but gotta say I love the look of this new Santa Fe. Good job, Hyundai designers
I'm glad Hyundai/Kia's finally sorted out the stability control. I've had two Sorentos with what feels like a life-threatening tendency to cut power on assertive turns from a stop at busy intersections, leaving me hanging dead in the water in the path of rapidly approaching vehicles. I now reflexively turn the system off for stop-and-go traffic.

Depends on the dealer. I've had polar opposite experiences.
I have had outstanding experiences with Hyundai dealers and maintenance. TBH, better than my current experience with BMW’s dealership.
Ive had terrible experiences with multiple Hyundai dealerships. That turned me off from this brand real fast.
