Just purchased the SEL 2024 one month ago. Dark green ext and gray interior like this. The fit and finish is outstanding. The ride is smooth like a full size luxury sedan. The cabin is extremely quiet as they have focused on using new glass and so on. Thankfully, no CVT transmission! This double clutch transmission is exceptionally fluid and you can select a normal ride, sport and I believe snow. The technology is amazing and the two large 12" screens are appreciated. The seats, as well as the headrest are so very comfortable. You just don't want to get out of the car! I'm a single person but wanted this vehicle for comfort space and that FIVE YEAR bumper to bumper warranty!!!! 3 yr maintenance included as well as oil changes. Engine and power train 100,000 miles! Finally, a vehicle with storage up front! Auto start/stop enroute which can easily be disabled with a button on the dash if you prefer. Also includes hill decent with auto braking. When you first test drive this Santa Fe you will simply be amazed at the ride and driving experience. And yes guys, it will get up and go! There is no other vehicle at this price point which can compete with the styling, comfort, technology and warranty.
I just crossed 500 miles on my calligraphy. I’ve had it 10 days. Going to do a review when I hit 1000 miles. As of right now I can’t believe how great this vehicle feels and looks. I am pretty picky about my cars. Still finding new things and I have spent a lot of time in this thing in my driveway. My favorite feature on this car is the self driving. It is absolutely amazing. The car literally learns how you drive and replicates your driving style with a little improvement. It uses the camera optics and the radars to make accurate decisions. I have driven the Tesla many times and I think Santa Fe is as good may be better. The only thing you can do is put a destination in and have it take you there. I live in DFW and it performs with great accuracy. Also I drove a genesis gv 80 for a week and this vehicle is just a good but 35k less. Hopefully the engine will hold up. 😊
I've owned the 2022 Santa Fe Caligaphy with the 2.5 turbo for about 2 years and 32k miles and so far it's been bullet proof....no warranty claims or anything, just oil changes and tire rotations. It has the same basic engine as the base Genesis and tons of tech features that are nice to have. I do love Toyota and Honda but after doing my research, and getting so much bang for my buck I decided to go Hyundai. I have sold cars for 20-25 years and have owned 15-25 new and used cars so I feel like I'm pretty picky and informed. Not sure how I feel about the new styling but I'm pretty sure I would get another Santa Fe when I get ready for my next vehicle
I just purchased a 24 Hybrid SEL . I was driving a 2019 X3 and though this doesn’t equal the driving dynamics of the aforementioned, I purchased this for different reasons. First and foremost, I was attracted by the value proposition. Mine was 41 grand ( plus $2500 for the extended warranty) My first Hyundai so I bought the warranty for a little peace of mind. My initial impressions are that it’s a very nice, well thought out vehicle and it’s plenty quiet. Not fast but far from sluggish the ride is confident enough but not inspiring. Inspiring starts at 55 to 65 grand. I’m happy where I’ve landed

The Hyundai Santa Fe, inside and out, looks like a $75k vehicle It does look like a Land Rover Defender Ot also looks bigger than it really is. It is 10 inches smaller than a Honda Pilot, but has more legroom
I love this redesign, really premium feel. The haters can be summarized with 3 things: "Ford Flex blah blah blah", "DCT blah blah blah", "Ugly back end blah blah blah" (it seems like people want the back end to look like every other SUV out there). In my lifetime I've owned VW, Pontiac, Honda, Subaru, and Toyota but for the past 20 years I've had 2 Kia's and 3 Hyundai's (Genesis) and have had very good experiences with them. This will be my 4th Hyundai.
You say “blah blah blah,” but those are valid complaints. I think most people just wish the taillights were higher, and I agree. Another channel did a photoshop with them higher and it made it look much better.
@@bryanbuff I understand your point and I saw the photoshop but for me it just made it look like the back of almost every SUV. Classic cars are classic because they had innovative design and there used to be styling that differentiated a Pontiac from a Caddy from a Ford. Over time, we have morphed to generic sedan and SUV styling. Line them up and try to name them if you're not a car enthusiast. But, regarding the tail lights, I love how they bring down the center of gravity of the back. Look at a 3/4 view of the back and see how the lower panel on the side slopes down toward the back tire. The lower tail lights help with those panels to give the appearance of weight (in addition to the practical issues the Hyundai designers give about a wider open cargo space).
Luv the Boxy design A LOT! And for those that think this NEW 2024 Santa Fe is Ugly or not as nice as the 4th Gen’ Santa Fe, I’d say get your eyes checked or buy some glasses. This vehicle is stunning to look at from every angle. Yes I know the rear end design is unique even for me, but I’ve pretty much gotten used to it mostly. It wouldn’t preclude me from buying this exceptional vehicle. And maybe Hyundai will refresh that area soon enough, and I’m referring to the tailgate/brake light design that’s been criticized the most from what I’ve seen. But I’m ready to take a test drive as soon as my local dealer has them in stock.

I have a lot of respect for Hyundai's continuous progress in so many aspects like quality but also their evolving good taste, styling and design and mostly the courage they have to go against the dullness of the market with an original design like this one. This is a lesson to learn on Subaru's side for example, because their wonderfully engineered Forester, just got the sad look of a "wanna be Ford" and it is really sad that no effort to be unique and original is happening there. Hopefully Hyundai will make the legendary Japanese brands wake up and stand out. Nailed the look of the front. The rear otoh, is a travesty. This will make insurance that is already high thanks to Hyundai's and Kia's cost cutting with lack of engine immobilizers, even higher.
