LOL Happened more than once. R.I.P. Maurice and Robin Gibb. Barry is the only survivor today. I saw them live outdoors at Riverfest on the Mississippi river one Summer night at St. Paul ,Minneosta 1988. Great Concert under the stars... on the river. The three Gibbs brothers were from Australia and began singing as a trio when they were grade school age. Peace & Love.
Another of my favorites. It has a slight country sound to it. Barry loves his country music, but he said they’d try to keep it to a minimum in their songs, so some of their songs have a flavor of it. I love Barry’s sweet, gorgeous voice in it, individually, but also the perfection and beauty they create together. There’s no other group like them.
Their three-part-harmonies are really like a (heavenly) choir, as you mentioned. Check'em out with 'Had A Lot Of Love Last Night' and 'Give A Hand, Take A Hand', both songs out of their beautiful album Mr. Natural. These couple of songs will bring you a shower of goosebumps like you never had before!

The reason BGs songs will last forever is because they said they don't write "love songs", they put music to emotions. And emotions are something that will never go away. They also said they don't write songs focused on any certain group of people, they write the songs, put them out there and let each person take from it what pertains to them. Great philosophy! I don't know if you've had a chance to listen to many of their songs, when you have the time may I suggest "I could not love you more", "Live or die" "The only love" and "Will you still love me tomorrow". You will love them as well! ;)
