I said over a month ago by noticing Woll's left leg being injured when he would slide across the ice it wasn't flush to the ice like his right leg was flush to the ice..
When I was watching the game yesterday online when his injury happened no one knew including the announcers where he was injured exactly?
I slid in the comments: "it's his left leg" again before no one knew what happened..
One guy said: "how do u know that? Woll took a puck in the chest & glove area not his leg"
3 or 4 minutes later Woll the Wall was being helped by his players with his left skate raised up and his right skate flush on the ice supporting all his weight right to the bench..
Guaranteed Kefe knew this too and Treleving instead of not playing him by giving him time to heal with rehab they felt virtually they had no choice, look how bad Sammy is playing..
Jones is going to have to fill the skates up of Woll because Sammy isn't quite there yet which hurts us unfortunately but I believe Jones will replace Sammy if he plays like he did in our last game in the third period & the victory unequivocally..

Also, they have some good goalie prospects that could back up Jones like Hildeby. Hildeby is a big guy ( 6'7 ) and very mobile as he starting to find his rhythm.

Sens have gone 2-4(.333) since Sweden. Please stop with the games in hand nonsense. They've gone .476 after 25% of the season. Games in hand are only an asset if you actually get points from them. To make matters worse, 76% of Ottawa's games so far have counted as home games. They should have banked huge points with such a ridiculously easy schedule...but they're instead a bottom feeder. From here on out their schedule gets A LOT harder with 7 of their next 10 on the road...and 8 of those 10 against playoff teams. Ottawa has a losing road record(2-3) and is 4-8(.333) against playoff teams so far this season.
Washington is currently in WC2 by point percentage and they've gone .587 after 23 games played. That's a 96 point pace...while Ottawa is on a 78 point pace. To get to 96pts and match the Washington Capitols pace, Ottawa would have to go .623 the remaining 61 games. IOW they'd need 38 wins in the next 61 games even as the schedule gets a lot harder. It ain't going to happen guys.
If it's any solace...Buffalo is even worse off. They'd have to go.654 over their remaining 55 games to get to 96 points. While the chances are not zero...they're ridiculously low. The small numbers separating teams is very deceptive because good teams constantly collect points(duh), so to catch them you need to collect points significantly faster. This is why digging yourself into a big hole to start the season is nearly always doom.

Did you know that after losing on the road to Carolina, Ottawa went 3-0 to start the season putting them in 2nd in the Atlantic?
I mean, as long as you carefully choose a timeframe one can make the case that the Sens have been fine...even great! ...yet there they are at .476 which is good for 24th in the league.
Not saying they looked horrible against the Leafs...not like that abomination they played against Florida. Heck, I thought the Sens were better than the Leafs for most of the game. They still lost though...and they've done that 11 times this season in 21 games. Fans may want to come to recognize that this team is not as good as they think it is. I mean this will be 7 seasons without a playoff berth.

Sick of trying to convince myself that this team is ahead of division rivals in their rebuild...even though the ex-GM declared the rebuild over TWO FREAKING YEARS AGO. The Senators are not better than Buffalo, Detroit, or Montreal...they're just not. They've a very weak prospect pool and a mediocre roster. The other rebuilding teams in the Atlantic have lots of young talent on the way and will be better than Ottawa for years to come.

You should see how many Kings fans invade Honda Center when Anaheim plays LA. Most LA fans actually live in OC so it’s easier for them to come here than go up to LA

I think woll will be back quickly, its very possible he may have just pulled something, its hard to play net with a pulled muscle but it really could be anything that happened hopefully its not major and hope hes back in the net soon

he probably pulled something on those 3-4 amazing saves where he made the splits while sliding across and then it just let go on that save he made on his knees.

I don't think the guy making this video have been watching Leafs games lol
Woll has been extremely good the whole season. He had 2 decent to bad games, but that's it. He's 8-5-1 even with those 2 bad games. 8-3-1 if you exclude them.
Woll can definitely steal games in the Playoffs, as he has been in a lot of games.
Super sad for him, hopefully it's not a season injury. IF Sammy starts playing well again, we will most likely be fine on the goal. The main issue is still the defense.
Woll has been facing over 30 shots every single game. It's out to tire the goalie or as seen, lead to an injure.
We need to stop the puck from going towards our net, but that's easier said than done.
Oh well, let's just hope for the best in all fronts

Hope Woll is healthy. He was by far the Leafs best player the last little bit. But can the Leafs really upgrade? They have basically no trade capital and also want to bring in a d-man. They don't have the chips to do both if they even have enough for one move.

Injuries can have the effect of turning a team's fortunes sour. That being said I don't think it has been proven that Woll is better than Jones. On a team with mediocre defence and unproven goaltending, Woll's injury may not be important.
Toronto is structured to score defensive issues away. This is the time in the schedule where Matthews, Marner, Taveres and Nylander will rack up a ton of goals. Winning 7-6 provides the same points as winning 1-0.
