    Utah is stacked, feel bad for yotes fans because they were starting to get better but lost their franchise immediately. They have a very solid d core and the only thing is depth in bottom 6 and goaltending, but Connor Ingram can be good every now and then which he has proved in the past couple of seasons.

    Overall you are damned right and you are also awesome! I have several picks for a big dark horse. As a lifelong Yotes fan witnessing that was tragic, but a really solid team of mainly young guns and underrated players gonna be dangerous. One team I have to mention only one other fan did is Columbus. For those of us who have followed the team since the old days these recent years of true severe tragedy have us fired up and ready! As for a team that many pick as a dead cert to make it I am sorry, but the Bruins are in such bad shape I don't think I can stomach it- it's sad, but true.

    I feel like if Montreal gets all the improvements we expect and stay consisent. Man just look at this:
    Suzuki: PPG Center, Selkie Canidate
    Slafkovsky: 65+ Point Power Forward Winger.
    Caufield: 35+ Goal 70 point Sniper Winger
    Laine: 35+ Goal PPG Power Sniper Winger
    Hutson: 35-40 Point Calder Canidate Offensive D
    Dach: 50-55 Point Power Center
    Newhook: 40-45 Point Playmaking Winger
    Roy: 30ish Point Two Way Winger
    Those are all the major additions or improvements we can expect. And if we compare it to last year. Man:
    Suzuki: 75-80 Point, Selkie Votes
    Slafkovsky: 50 Point Power Winger
    Caufield: 25 Goal Sniper WInger
    Laine: {Not a Canadien}
    Hutson: {DIdn't Play Enough}
    Dach: {Didn't Play Enough}
    Newhook: Paced for 50 points
    Roy: {Didn't Play Enough}
    Considering we were already 8 wins out of a playoff spot with that team. Safe to say we can expect around a 8-10 Win increase from last year. Maybe more to be honest. I don't expect another 16 OTLs. I can see this being a legit playoff team when some people are still saying they are a bottom of the barrel lottery team. The players look ready to take that step and the core roster looks good enough to make it.

      You also gotta consider regressions and health though. Not all of those guys will play enough games to hit those marks. And guys like Matheson probably had a carrer year. As much as us Habs fans want a playoff spot. I think patience is key. If we're good enough you can imagine Kent Hughes will start adding to this team. If they do make it though this year. I will say in 2 seasons when they resign or trade Laine. Lose Gally and Andersons contracts. Man that's 20.7 Million Cap we gain in 2 seasons. That's more then enough to sign 2 superstars.

    Sens just need 3 improvements from last season to push for and/or make a playoff spot.
    1. Ullmark to come in and just post a .910 save percentage that alone likely increases the pts totals by 10-15pts on last season
    2. Stutzle to stay healthy and have his wrist healed from last season (he played 70 games on an injured wrist and as a result he couldnt shoot) only had 1 PP goal last season he likely never stays out of double digit PP goals for a long time in his career.
    3. Stay relatively healthy especially down the middle of the ice I think since theyve all become NHLers approx 3 seasons Stutzle, Norris, and Pinto have been available to play for around a combined 30 out of 180 NHL games
