Still after 10 years it’s great to hear and see them sing together. Both get better and better.
I became a metalhead because of these two Ladys...
I became a European Metalhead first because of Floor Jansen, and second because of Simone Simons! American Metal sucks to me now! European metal is so much better oh, so much more creative, and the symphonic metal just blows me away. Female-fronted metal just doesn't exist in America. That really sucks because millions of people are really missing out, just like I was before I discovered Nightwish in the wee hours of the morning while watching RUclips. One thing about RUclips is that you never know where it's going to take you. After discovering Nightwish I discovered Epica and several other symphonic metal bands that I just love! And when Nightwish was on tour in America I was really pissed because they were in Chicago about four months before I discovered them! Hopefully I'll be able to catch them next time!

Thanks! They will probably come back through Chicago on their next tour. I really hope so! Or they can go to Indianapolis, but Chicago would be better because we're closer to Chicago. I am definitely going to catch them on their next tour with VIP tickets. They performed at the Aragon Ballroom the last time they were here and I'm hoping they do so again. I can't wait for their next album to come out!

Floor's voice is just stunning. Every time I hear her sing, I am absolutely blown away. Simone is great as well...but Floor's voice goes so many other places that it's hard to fathom the depth of her talent.

This is a great song with a wonderful melody - a testament to Floor's writing as much as a great showcase for her (and Simone's) beautiful voices.
Agreed. I wish Tuomas would let her do something of the writing for NW...he's clearly running out of creative steam.

One of my favourites of ReVamp, and I love both Floor and Simone.
This is how an amazing duet looks like! They voices complemented at all, and sounds soooo good together. Not like another duets that just sound horrible.

Floor is amazing!! Her voice has such a strenght... she sings with such a feeling that touches deep into my heart...!
Poor Simone, you can see that she has trouble hearing herself. She is several times closing her ear in order to get some internal feedback (0:50, 4:13) , and she's also asking the sound engineer to put her mic' louder in the speakers (2:12). She's a guest on this song, and the sound checking for her mic' wasn't done properly. It's unfair to judge her voice on this performance.
Oh my bad, in fact each time she is adjusting her ear monitor. But still it means that she doesn't ear herself very well.

Love these ladies so much.
Singing is practice, study, hard work. My teacher says we are athlets of the voice.It is true. It is clear that Floor is VERY WELL trained! She masters her voice, she knows what to do with it. Simone has not reached the same level, BUT SO WHAT? I think we are all humans, and we are here to try more and more, and use wht we have and make it evolve and grow. What Simone has so far is already nice, and people should support her always. She is just a human being, and hher contribution to Epica is amazing. It's clear to me that she is a bit shy and insecure, if compared to Floor. She is just a human being. She her has bright!

I think a lot of it has to do with the heaviness of the music, That's What attracted me to Epica in the first place. That and they are very symphonic. Oh and let's not forget Mark Jansen, he is absolutely divine!❤

Nightwish should never tour when Epica is, and vice versa. This way they would have both Floor and Simone full time that would be mental. I'm sure Simone would do awesome in Nightwish songs with Floor!
Simone also sang female voice on some of Kamelot's songs - but that worked out because Epica and Kamelot toured together occasionally.
