Did you see the multiple colors together? Do you suggest back stitching? Also how did you find your measurements? Have you used Net to make the tutus more pancake- like? Sorry so many questions!

Hi Terri! Using the method in this video, I use 6 to 8 pieces/sections of ribbon trim tulle for infants. I buy the 54 inch wide tulle. You want to cut the elastic to fit the child's waist. And no, I've never tried to hand sew the ribbon on. I'm sure it comes out just fine. :) I have the exact measurements I use for this at diyreecie.com/product/ribbon-trim-tutu-measurements
I use a mix of 2 patterns, so when I get time (aka. WHEN THE KIDS GO TO SCHOOL NEXT WEEK) I'll combine them and make the pattern available on my website. Then I'll do a tutorial.

Hi! I was just using off colors to show the technique so I didn't finish the entire cut of tulle. On the colors that I actually used to create the tutu I did take the ribbon all the way to the ends. Sorry for the confusion.😊

Hello! It doesn't have to be on the bolt. For me, the bolts make it easier to adjust your sizes from small to larger sizes.
