So, you can just cut 9 yards of ribbon in each color as 1 piece instead of 9 pieces. I had already cut them like that before I started filming! But it would all still be sewn the same. 😂

This looks really great! It looks like the pieces of tulle are not actually sewn together on the sides where the colors connect; they just overlap when you attach the ribbon . Right? Does that cause a problem when child wears it? I’m going to make this for my 12m old granddaughter. I think it’s ok for small sizes but wonder if anyone has had issues with child’s foot getting caught in opening in the bigger sizes. Please correct me if I am doing this wrong. I may have missed a step.

How do you know how long to make a tutu. My grand baby wears a 4 T. If I measure her should it go mid way between her knee and hip?
