0-12 mts: Waist 13" and Length 6"
12-18 mts: Waist 14" and Length 7"
18-24 mts: Waist 15" and Length 8"

3T: Waist 18" and Length 10"
4T: Waist 20" and Length 10"

Good on you Pamela, I have 6 grandchildren, only one girl. And they all seemed to come along at once. Its great though. I love doing things like this for them. Im making my first tutu for my grandaughter for Christmas. I had to use her boy cousin for measurements!!. HE wouldnt be happy if he new what I was making. I had to pretend I was checking he was growing lol, they're both 4. The tutu has been so easy to make. I found the 6" tulle very cheap on ebay, cant remember how much, my daughter ordered it. Ive just seen it for £1.99 for 6" x 100 yards!! and free shipping Ebay again!

If you cut the card board the width of the tulle and clip it with butterfly paperclips it makes it so much easier to hold the tulle in place while measuring
Also using 2 pieces of tulle in each (instead of 1) it will make it fuller .

Did the band appear to be non stretchy afterwards? I’m making one now and the side with the tulle doesn’t appear stretchy anymore.

Hi there, great demo! please could you tell me if you use the full width of 6" and fold in half lengthways or are you cutting to 3" widths then folding in half along the length before you thread through the band TIA

If you are using the same color, do you still have to go from the bottom to the top by 3's or can you do the full bottom row, then the full middle row and then the top row?

Thank you for doing this video! I have a granddaughter due in May and her mom is tiny and so I think the baby will be too. I used a 9 inch around headband and it looks adorable, but still pretty big. Should I try a smaller around band or do less rows to make it smaller?
After you measure and cut it do you do strips? The ones you put on looked like 2" strips.

with the crochet band, what size would you cut for a 12 month old? what about for a 6 year old? guidelines say 22" for a 6 year old but that seems huge!!
