Thank you so much! I just finished the tutu for my daughter's first birthday in October. Finding a pink, orange and black tutu was impossible. I'm so happy with it. Now I must use my Cricut to make a matching shirt. This was so simple.

I’m so glad I found this tutorial. My daughter received a unicorn costumer with a tutu, however, it was so constricting that I had to take a part the whole costume and I didn’t know how to put back the tutu. Thank you for this tutorial. It helped me a lot

Need a purple one for a color party. Never thought of using something to hold the elastic while I tie the tulle. I also never thought about tying 2 pieces together that would definitely make it more full.

Perfect.. my two granddaughters celebrate their birthday in 2 weeks from now and the oldest one who will be 11 has a tutu, and we can't find one similar for the one who is going to be 4 years old. Lovely job! I suppose you can use an piece of elastic with velcro attached to each end so it can be adjusted to size when put on....just a thought ☺

I will be making my daughter-in law, my 2 granddaughters and myself a TuTu. I am smiling as I see the video, and its been hard to do that being away from the girls. The Tea Part is what we all need. Amazing going to make these!!!! With the elastic measurements, do you just measure around their waist and cut to the size or do you have to do it smaller as it will stretch? X

The blue is dark turquoise and the lighter purple is lavender and I got them from Michaels. The darker purple is also called lavender and I got that one from Hobby Lobby.

Great video. Question about the object you use to assist putting the tutu together. In this video you used a vinegar container. I'm doing one for my 3.5 yr old and I am not sure what object.i should use to assist me. Any help here would be great!
Thanks! You can put it around possibly a bucket or flower pot as those both come in different sizes.

I made a darling tutu for my 3yr old and she wore it all day!! It got bunched up and ratty after a bit, any suggestions in making it more durable? Maybe I didn’t use enough pieces? I’d like to make another but I want to do it better😢

Can u do this same way but make a bigger one for like a Halloween costume? Like would that work?
Of course you can! Just measure your waist for the elastic and length of your strips will depend on the length you want to make it. Also, how many rolls of tulle you need will depend on size of skirt.
Can u please make a tutu with Christmas colors and a headband to match
