    This was THE best tutu pattern. Very finished looking. I like this style better than the "tie on" version.

    I love this tutu but either I missed the 1st cut or you missed explaining how you folded after cutting the initial 6 yards @ 3:02, right before cutting the raw edge. Is it me or does that 6 yds look short?

    I decided to use nylon bath scrunchies, cut the cord in the middle straighten it out. It's much softer on infant skin. Extremely inexpensive, easily washable.

      What an excellent idea! I looked up what bath scrunchies are made of and all I could find was the nylon net and it always seemed so course to me. Next time I’m at the fabric store, I’m going to research a little better. Thank you so much for sharing!

    Omg so precious. My daughter is due end of July 💜... so how much do you personally charge to make these? If they turn our good when I make them... I wonder if I could sell them too?

      Thank you so much! Congratulations on your upcoming bundle of joy😊 Thank you for your question. I didn’t charge what I charge now because I was establishing myself. I’ll be sure to post a future video on how to set a starting price, build from there over time and where I started selling. And you’ll do just fine! Good luck, start now and you’ll be surprised how quickly you’ll sell your first tutu!

      @@tutumuchtuluv3676 thank you!!!! We are thrilled for our miracle bundle! The tutus look decently easy... I always worry... will I make them and they sell? Or will I buy all this product and then no one buy them? Lol we dont get maternity leave. Sick or any benefits at my job, so starting something like this to help with Bill's would be a dream... just not sure its realistic? Idk???

    • @tutumuchtuluv3676

      Just get in there and start, you’ll see how easy it is! And don’t go out buying a lot of supplies. Choose a few tutu’s you want to start with. Then buy those supplies. Then when you post your tutu’s add a custom option. So let’s say you have a basic purple tutu posted, like the one in this video, then a customer chooses the custom option for your purple tutu but wants gold ribbon on it, then you go out and buy the ribbon. Don’t buy supplies you might not use right away, save that money. And trust me, they’ll sell. Mom’s love dressing up their precious little girls and even older girls still love dressing up in them. The biggest one I’ve made was for an 8 year old.

      @@tutumuchtuluv3676 thank you! I just asked about this on some bow and tutu pages and they said they are hard to sell and make money off of. I just really thought I could supplement about $600-800 a month on this :(

      Aww, don’t let them discourage you. If you find something you like, do it, and make sure you take advantage of all the avenues to promote your product. This is all I do. Good luck on whatever you decide!🍀

      Hi there, yes. I like to make a ring out of cardboard a little bigger than my waistband and I hot glue it to one side of the box, then I can affix the tutu around it so it won’t move around and get crushed.😊

    Or 54 Inch Premium Tulle Fabric Bolt ( W: 54 inch | L: 40 Yards ) i’m trying to find out which one makes it more fluffy or is it just the amount of layers that I’m using ???

    • @tutumuchtuluv3676
      @tutumuchtuluv3676  3 года назад +1

      Hi there, it’s the 2nd one, Premium Tulle Fabric. For this type of tutu, in my experience, it’s the yardage that makes it even fluffier. I will say the no sew tutu process can also achieve an extremely fluffy tutu. If you know or have seen my video on that technique, and you don’t skip a line and fill them all in that does the trick.
