Angela, I follow you since the beginning and it’s so wonderful see how fast your business has grow! Blessings to you and your family. Thank you for share my! People, ANGELA’s tutus are back! ❤️❤️ Super, super cute!
I enjoy you and husband plus kids. I’m glad you are doing tutu again. I have learn a lot from you. I was think of doing my own business too. Thank you for everything Angela.
I watched quite a few videos, to learn how to make tutus for my great granddaughter, and possibly get good enough to sell at a farmers market. That is very close to my home. I’m a senior citizen. I can use the extra income.. just keep gravitating to your videos for your technique and your adorable personality I had a craft shop years and years ago before we had Joannes and Michael’s or anything like that in town so I had a sauce for ribbons and tool and glue sticks and all that kind of stuff so I have to start over again we’re getting a tax ID number occupational license, but I think it’ll be worth it I’m learning how to make little girls bows and I’m liking the socks. I’ve been seeing where it’s a ruffled ribbon but separate from the sock. I don’t know if you’ve done any of those yet, so I’m thinking I can put a nice little set together And I would like to put the shirts with it so I’ll be checking in with you purchasing the shirts to possibly sell with my tutus. I’d like to get a manikin like I’ve seen a few videos if I do go to the farmers market so I can set up a little tutu outfit on it anyway, I’m back to look at the rest of your videos. Thank you so much.
This was soooo much fun to watch! A couple of suggestions, wear the brace at night & it will really help! Get a massage…you deserve it being such a hard worker and it will really help! If you make more tutus, do all of your cutting for multiple tutus & then store them together…will make it go faster when you are ready to sew& you can have more done more quickly & available to sell! I am drooling over the Juki! I am sure there is a learning curve! I would love a tutorial with step by step & up close shot of how you make the tutus! Soon I will have a lot of girl babies in my life via nieces & friends! So this would be a great 1st birthday gift or even newborn gift!! 😘🎉
Very cute. Watching you makes it look so easy. I want to try it. You did a beautiful job. I am 50 years old and have been trying to find something I can do to help with finances. I tried printable stickers for a while on Etsy -I didn't do well at all. I gave it more than a year. Trying for that passive income. So, the past few months I decided I would go back to sewing( I did a little here and there when I worked at a fabric store about 25 yrs ago)trying to find my niche they say. I have been inspired by you and I just want to say thank you.
Hi Angela, just a little tip. If you need to measure for any seam allowance on any machine I usually take a ruler and measure from the needle drop to the distance I need for whatever I am working on. You need 3/4"? Put the ruler under your needle on 0 (zero) and measure 3/4" from there. You can put a piece of painters tape for reference on the other side. I hope that helps until you can get more experience on your new Juki. BTW I am green with envy! lol
It’s about time you got into industrial sewing machines. I couldn’t believe you were making all those tutu’s with a home sewing machine!!! Lol I have 3 industrial sewing machines! Once you try one you will never go back to home nothing. Lol
It turn out great! I made a tutu because of you. And I fell in love. Gracias Angela for all you teach us. Then I went to Casandras channel when you mentioned her , she’s great! Gald your back tu tutus 🥰
Good luck with the brace. I wire one that stabilized my thumb in addition to my wrist. Worked wonders. I had tendinitis in my thumb and the pain was traveling up my arm toward my elbow. After wearing the brace for months, it healed. It can reoccur, but Motrin and wearing the brace for a short time stops it from progressing.
It's beautiful! 😍 You never lost it! I understand completely with the hands hurting. I have carpal tunnel in both of my hands and have to do the brace at night to get relief. It sucks but ya gotta keep pushing right. Thanks for the motivation! 😊
Your poor wrist! FWIW - I waited so long to do the carpal tunnel surgery because I was scared but it was SO worth it. I've been a crafty small business owner for 8 years - a sewist mainly and I used to be a writer. I also love riding my bike, knitting, and crocheting so my wrists take a lot of punishment. I used to wear a brace like that to bed and I'd wake up in the middle of the night with numb fingers. It was hard to sew and ride my bike. Once I recovered from the surgery, I no longer have numbness and REALLY have to overdo it in order to have wrist pain. Normally surgery wouldn't be my go to suggestion but it made such a difference in my life and the doc said to do it while I'm young (I was 29 at the time) because the older you get, the harder it is to recover. Anywho just thought I'd mention it! KT tape and ice also help too, you can find videos online for how to apply the KT tape. Love the tutu, it's SUPER cute!
So glad I found your video! I am going to do a tutu for my 3year old daughter’s birthday and wanted to do it this way, but wanted to get a better idea on how to do it. And this helps a lot, I mean obviously the measurements will change. But that’s okay.
I LOVE my Juki TL 2000qi. It’s for quilting. You are correct it so SUPER fast. I’m whipping through these hexagons for my quilt. I do wish the Juki did zigzag stitch but that’s what my Bernette embroidery/sewing machine is for lol. The only thing I don’t like on the Juki is the million and 5 steps to thread it lol
Siiiiiiis I just seen some of your videos and I’m JUST starting to make tutus and I see embroidery is where it’s at too I’m about to follow your blueprint to the T and share with you my progress thank you soooo much for sharing with us I’m soooo proud of you can’t wait to start
Juki bomb!!!!!!that is my next machine as of right now i have a bernina(mine) and a very olf Pfaff (my fathers he taught me how to sew mom is not allow by the machine lol!)
Great to see you going back to your beginnings making tutus. I've always loved watching you make them, inspired me to make a tutu for my granddaughters 1st birthday last May. Have fun with your new machine xx
Good Morning, Beautiful Queen and congratulations on everything and many blessings to all you're doing I'm enjoying your new house and lord the workspace "AMAZING " ijs. Hobby Lobby has become my new friend
I love how you called LIZZZZZZZ!! 🥰 you both are awesome and inspiring people! Hope your hand heals fast! I used to wear a wrist brace many times at work (when I worked on factory floor, now I work in office)… was never fun! Love that machine!! And tutu turned out awesome as usual! 🥰
See!!!! I thought I was the only one who thinks about final destination when I’m on the highway behind those log trucks or any car with a lot of stuff on it 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for the tutorial. Love your work, your shop, and your jolly personality. You should try wrapping your arm in magnets. Magnet therapy is ancient, but considered homeopathic. As a cyclist I have used magnets for years for various aches and pains. I have also used magnets on toothaches in an emergency. They are non invasive to your body so definitely worth a try. Strong craft magnets will work.
Thank you so much for the shout out!!!! I had to stop eating lunch and announce it to the entire office. LOL. Thanks again!!!
Beautiful. Look at you not scared of that sewing machine!!! You'll never want to go back to a home machine again
