@@ReecieDIY it was a bit much it came out crazy ...lol but i had to try...but that was many moons ago. I am trying to get were you are, finace problem right now but i will keep watching your videos until i have them down pack.😁 You are the best keep up the good wrok
Hi so I followed all your steps but some reason the sock didn’t ruffle even after I pulled the tension in the stitch can you tell me where i might be goin wrong
I used about 3 yards of tulle and ribbon per sock. This sock was for a size 11c shoe, so you can add more or less depending on how fluffy you want your socks to be.
Lately I've been purchasing from Amazon. They have much faster shipping than some of the other online vendors, and shipping can be really expensive from other vendors, also. amzn.to/2NhVF8E
This sock is for a size 11c shoe. (Age 5) I cut 3 yards for each sock. Depending on the amount of fluffiness, An infant sock would be about 2 yards, but you would also need to shorten the width. For this sock I just folded a 6" piece in half, you will want your width to be about 4" or so.
You are talented! I’m a boy mom but I’m crafty & my niece needs these socks, like yesterday! Thank u!
Yessss sis I am going to try this today #keepsupportingsmallchannel like mind God bless

Yes! Thank you for the suggestion. We did a Bumblebee costume a few years ago. Which character is her favorite?
@@ReecieDIY it goes between katana and poison ivy and bumblebee.
Hey does this require a gathering foot for the sewing machine?
There is a tutorial on how to gather your tulle on your machine with out a gathering foot
Did u fold the tulle in half
It looks like she folded it.
Yes. It looks like she folded it in half.
What inch is the tulle? Did you fold it?
Love this tutorial, i jus recently did a pair using ribbon only and the came out OK
Amber Chandler I need that info
I got to get help with my sewing machine ....i tried doing this by hands....that was all a knew
How did it turn out when you did it by hand? I can imagine stitching the ribbon on, but stitching the tulle AND ribbon by hand sounds challenging!

Thank You! Check around and ask if anyone has a sewing machine that you can borrow. I lot of people have them and never use them.😉
@@ReecieDIY i have a brand new ....😑i know i do need to take a basic sewing class ...Thank you so much for the advice❤
@@shonini did you use elastic to sew with they would have came out great for you.
Hi what size ribbon do you use?
Did you use 3 yards for each sock?
Can I place an order
How wide is your ribbon
Did you double the tulle? I don't think you ever said that.
Love this video i have a quick question if i wanted to make these for a infant would i still use 3 yrds per sock
No measure according to the length of the sock
I tried to the loose tension but it’s not working for me idk what I’m doing wrong
Is it satin ribbon
Yes, it's satin ribbon.
Hi so I followed all your steps but some reason the sock didn’t ruffle even after I pulled the tension in the stitch can you tell me where i might be goin wrong
The same thing happened to me
Love itttttt!!!!
How to do a lose stitch ??
This is what I thought, it won’t pull and ruffle for me?
What size needle did you use
What if your sewing machine doesn’t have a zig zag stitch ??
How do you know how much tutle and ribbon to use for each sock
Each sock size
I used about 3 yards of tulle and ribbon per sock. This sock was for a size 11c shoe, so you can add more or less depending on how fluffy you want your socks to be.
Ok thank you I have to do some socks for a new born I think I might cut the tulle in half since it's for a new born and maybe 5/8 ribbon
Where do you purchase your ribbon?
Lately I've been purchasing from Amazon. They have much faster shipping than some of the other online vendors, and shipping can be really expensive from other vendors, also. amzn.to/2NhVF8E
I love this!!! Quick question if I sew by hand do I stretch as I sew also?
YES
Hi , can you tell me what size I would need to cut the tulle and ribbon for baby sizes and upwards
@@ReecieDIY you just answered my question...this was great!!!!
Did you mean 3 yards or 3 feet per sock? 3 yards seems like a lot
Hi. I used 3 yards per sock. It would be a lot of fabric, but tulle is so thin it takes more to make ruffles.
Girrrrl yassssssss
I use 5 in. organza on
That's pretty! (And I'm sure it washes much better, too.) Thank you for sharing. :)
@@ReecieDIY I love the way your turned out lot more Fluffy
How many yards of the organza do you use. I used 3 yards per sock, which is A LOT, so that's probably what it is.
They are call cuff socks
Then mind
Where do you buy your ribbon?
