I love this. I've been trying to wrap my mind around wavy Tutus and to think all this time, i couldn't figure it out because it Not the tulle used on the bolt like regular ribbon Tutus. I will use this and the train tutorial to work magic. Thank you very much for your videos.

How do you pack and ship the skirt so that it does not lose it's shape?
Are you alternating the “curl” of each tulle piece, before you sew it, to make it curl? How does using double satin ribbon change things & have you tried that? I know when you do an elastic waistband it’s almost the same because you’re tying 3 layers of tulle to a 1 in waistband (doing the tulle “upside down” so the knot is towards the child for the purpose of the final “look”)& then sewing the tulle like this.

please help me !! my ribbon doesnt lay flat and pretty like yours. i dont know if its the type of ribbon im using or the tension on the machine.
Allionce Is it bunching up? If yes, the tention is too tight.
Does the sizing of the waist change? Seems like the band is stretched out...
HI love your tutorials can I ask what size is your mannequin
My attempt turned out pretty but the ribbon wave is SO crowded. it's a 7" for my 12 mo old and the ribbon barely has room to wave. (3 colors, 36 rows, crochet headband). Not sure what to do to fix it other than eliminate a color to make more room. :(
When you tie it to the crochet band, you can always skip a hole after each color.

How do you determine how much of the crochet band you use for the waist band?
She has a list on one of her earlier tutu tutorials. Look through her library of videos and you'll find it. Sorry I cant remember exactly which.

Please please tell me what im doing wrong i just can not get my machine to sew ribbon to tulle the stitches come right out i messed w the tention the presser foot i changed the stitch longer and shorter nothings working please help do i need a different needle maybe a thin one ? Please please help

Yes everything is set up right i have a husqvarna viking jade 20 and it sews great but everytime i try on my tulle n ribbon it just either is way to loose or its all bunched up in the back side ive changed tension thread length everything idk what im doing wrong.....thank you for taking time to answer btw your an amazing woman
