Dr. Zoidberg seems like a genuine mistake. You can tell that the flight crew were meant to reduce thrust. The thrust was reduced to climb power right after the bump.
i loved that thing so much once my flight got cancelled to NA so i just turned around and bought another ticket right back to Stockholm partly so i could take the 767 RB212-524 on BA again cuz that thing is lit. audios dont do it justice
Oh Dan! Yet another amazing video!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH from one avid follower :-) You bring so much joy to so many of us with your magnificent videos... The sound of that RB211 spooling up is priceless..it makes my heart race... LOVE IT!! Long live the good 'ole RB211!!!! Nothin' like it!!!
Watching this back and hearing that safety video… man the nostalgia hit Harder than ever. Makes me remember my two magical flights on their 747 back in 2015.
Gotta love it when it throttles up and a few seconds later it seems to throttle up a bit more - my fave bit of any flight as it means we're off and on our way. Crackin' video - very clear.
Lol the view outside the window is almost exactly the same as B757! Great video and sound. BA's 777s and 767s are very unique due to their Rolls Royce engines
No sharklets on British B767s? I got used to seeing them. Just flew on a 767 and even though the sharklets are relatively new, it almost looks strange without them.
DCO: Great question and one I researched a while back. Here is a general answer to your query. Whether an aircraft has sharklets (also called winglets) or not depends on a lot of things, but mostly the age and the primary purpose for the aircraft. Sharklets essentially enable the aircraft to have a shorter takeoff distance and higher rate of climb, faster rate of descent, and shorter landing distance, which is preferable for short duration flights. For aircraft designed for long-haul flights, they have come up with a “raked wing”, which provides greater cruise efficiency. Unfortunately, I cannot see the end of this 767’s wing to determine if it is an older aircraft (which has neither) or a raked wingtip. If you really want to get into the “down and dirty”, search on “raked vs winglets.” I hope this helps.
You did some good shots of traffic coming in while your airplane is waiting...Yes, I have flown into Heathrow Airport so many times and it is a good airport....
Great video and super scenery. The only thing better would be looking out that window all the way to Edinburg and hoping they had to circle the Highlands! Thanks!
Nice footage mate! I've got my first trip booked in a BA 767 from Edinburgh to LHR and I'm keen to work out which would be a good seat. Is 8F in economy?
Nice filming. What a noise those engines make. Shame this particular 767 was retired back in July ‘18 with the rest being phased out over the next couple of months
Excelente vídeo Dantorp, tienes muy buen cuidado en los detalles que hace la diferencia de otros "tubers", felicidades. Saludos desde la Ciudad de México.
So the 767-336ERs built originally for British Airways and the -3W0ERs originally built for China Yunnan airlines have RRs AFAIK. Is there another original customer for the RR 767s that I don't know about?
I do not know Edinburgh, It has being a while since I travelled on a plane, last time, it was a bit cold and dark. Videos I guess are part of the security...
Yes, 767-300 engines can be loud!!! But that aircraft is a very good aircraft. Every airline has worked the 767's so much...I have always liked working the Business Class when I did not fly the Purser Position....
Hey :) I flew from Heathrow to Houston on a 747 < January 24th 2014 > It was a very sentimental flight, and I'm trying to find anything I can about it - any pictures, videos etc... I've tried everywhere, even asking Flight Radar 24 if they could let me purchase the route map of it, but they don't have it anymore... You seem to be very big in the RUclips aviation circles, so do You have anything from then, or any ideas who to ask ....?? Regardless, I am a frequency viewer of your videos and enjoy them greatly. Best regards for now. Eddie
Cool video mate were you of to now and by the way did you notice the bird when the plane was landing I think it was south west airlines my write and liked and subscribed 😀🛫✈️🛩🛬
17:35 "ooop sorry bumped the throttles." "Quite alright chap, I do it all the time" "Chortle chortle." "Cup of tea please"
Dr. Zoidberg seems like a genuine mistake. You can tell that the flight crew were meant to reduce thrust. The thrust was reduced to climb power right after the bump.
Might be the auto thrust reacting to a noise abatement / Speed restriction on the SID
Autothrottle can also act according to noise levels automatically?
Every takeoff is a “rush” for me. I just love it. It’s worth the money spent on my ticket...
totally agree with you especially if you have a gorgeous engine sound!
I wish they could speed up faster and hear a louder engine roar
Yessir I miss the old RB211s that deep growl then scream especially static takeoffs
i loved that thing so much once my flight got cancelled to NA so i just turned around and bought another ticket right back to Stockholm partly so i could take the 767 RB212-524 on BA again cuz that thing is lit. audios dont do it justice
Whenever a plane takes off I love it cos ur going slow and then all of a sudden u start zooming down the runway and it feels like a rollercoaster!
Damn, those RB211s are music to my ears!!
Are they RB211s?
@@robbie19143 they are
14:35 for take off :)
Thanks
Those RR engines are Beautiful
Did this route at Christmas 2 years ago on the 767 also superb flying on such a large jet for such a short flight great video
One of the best take off videos I've seen....amazing sound!
Ikr!

It's all in the sound... And the best we can do is to say THANK YOU !!

Really cool, enjoyed the nice intense engine roar of the Boeing 767, a nice bold jetliner of the friendly skies.
love the engine start up from apu!
the 767 is sooooo great!
Watching this back and hearing that safety video… man the nostalgia hit Harder than ever. Makes me remember my two magical flights on their 747 back in 2015.

RR and GE... both GREAT feats of engineering!
AudiophileTubes PW???
The PW sounds good on the 757
Lol the view outside the window is almost exactly the same as B757! Great video and sound. BA's 777s and 767s are very unique due to their Rolls Royce engines
Love that Rolls Royce RB211 engine sound! Just like the famous L-1011 but with two engines!

*Winglets
Only airbus calls them 'sharkets' on the A320series. Winglets have been installed on 767s since I believe around 2004-ish
Winglets are just for the detail XD
I hate winglets on 767s
I understand they aren't compatible with the RR engines.
You did some good shots of traffic coming in while your airplane is waiting...Yes, I have flown into Heathrow Airport so many times and it is a good airport....
Impressive sight of the BA fleet at 9:27
That moment when the engine goes to full revs and you're being pulled into your seat because of accelwration: amazing feeling! ❤
Wow!! That nice engine roar!! Music to my ears
One reason my home washing machine was a really popular appliance is because it sounds like this engine
I would do the wash every day if my machine sounded like this...
epic engine roar 14:43
I can't believe you only have 44,235 subs! You deserve a lot more!
he DID get more 44,961 :P
45,844, at least one is mine due to this great video. :-P
48,514 as of mon 15th August 2016(plus meeeeee)
Nice Video 👍✈
+Nick Uhlig Thanks Nick!
Nice!!! As your airplane turned that 747-400 was behind you...Very nice...!
Epic! @NonstopDan, please do more of these too.
love it . but I am not used to seeing RR engines on a 767
love that Engine sound...
Amazing video ! Really enjoyed this great wingview :)
Thanks for the nice video, and for the info attached, very few provides that kind of precise data of the flight
Absolutely love hearing the engine on takeoff
Nice Video Bud. Me and a few of my mates got videos of your flight landing.
Awesome video! Really nice quality and filming.
Love the RB-211 on the 767! Great Vid!
Hell no, it CF6
Great video and super scenery. The only thing better would be looking out that window all the way to Edinburg and hoping they had to circle the Highlands! Thanks!

All UK domestics are economy only
The Frequent Flyer yay Edinburgh
Superb sound quality man
all your videos are the same, all of them are great!. i love the way BA use 767 to go to Amsterdam and Glasgow!
Always great to see the BA 767 acs at FRA , instead of BA's A320 fleet :)
Going to miss the Boeing 767 as they slowly phaseing out😢😭
The sound of those rolls Royce rb211s
Great vid, enjoyed watching.
Nice filming. What a noise those engines make. Shame this particular 767 was retired back in July ‘18 with the rest being phased out over the next couple of months
That sound is AWESOME!!!!!
The 524H is a nice engine but in my opinion the 535E4 has the sexiest roar
A lot of people refer to the buzz saw noise as a “roar” but I think of the roar as the rocket like noise from the exhaust.
It never gets old!
From 8:20 a beautiful Vietnam Airlines B777-200ER.🇻🇳🇻🇳🇻🇳
Very professionally done! I'd give you ten thumbs-up if I could.
Quite literally.......Awesome!! I wonder what Mr Rolls and Mr Royce would say if they could see this??
The sound of the engines spooling up to full throttle🥵🥵😫😫
Excelente vídeo Dantorp, tienes muy buen cuidado en los detalles que hace la diferencia de otros "tubers", felicidades. Saludos desde la Ciudad de México.
Amazing takeoff. Nice video:)
15:25 sound in the video and in person sounds like a bearing is giving way somewhere in the engine lol. Fast take off on this old bird.
Great video and quality! ;D

GREAT! is there a landing video?
love the sound of start up and you can still hear it over the annoying safety video! 👍
Jonathon Kearney the annoying safety video that might save your life
Flew on one of these beasts to Paris and back last year.
Nice zoom on the cam
I do not know Edinburgh, It has being a while since I travelled on a plane, last time, it was a bit cold and dark. Videos I guess are part of the security...
literally sounds good
beautiful!! I just loved it✈✈
Rare for a 767 to have RB211s most of them have CF6s
The best commercial turbofan engine ever fitted to a wing the RB211
Yes, 767-300 engines can be loud!!! But that aircraft is a very good aircraft. Every airline has worked the 767's so much...I have always liked working the Business Class when I did not fly the Purser Position....
Great Video Dantorp,Brilliant as Always,Do you know why there was such a Big Aircraft for such a Big Flight?

Good stuff, Dantorp..
I can't help but smile at 14:42
Love this Videos 👍👍👍👍👍
Amazing footage :))
Whoever voice that was for the safety procedures I'd love to meet her 😘🤗😍
The sweet sound starts at 14:40 as takeoff thrust is set...
I though British Airways retired their 767. I still love the 767 because of it's monstrous engine and it's wing looks like the Boeing 777-200
Nice vid, why would BA use the 76 on such a short trip though?
Rolls-Royce always with beautiful sounds in their engines.
Wow, that feels so heavy!
Was this recorded in the summer? Only asking because I work near Heathrow and the grass doesn't look like that normally.
Yes, July 1
lovely RR sound
Cool video mate were you of to now and by the way did you notice the bird when the plane was landing I think it was south west airlines my write and liked and subscribed 😀🛫✈️🛩🛬
Goosebumps
The safety video says ''On the main deck...'' on a 767?
rolls royace engines always have a nice note to them
I fucking love that sound!
I can not believe that they interrupted the engine start up with music and announcement. You must be kidding me!!!
I just might get a chance to fly this bird one last time this year and I am praying it happens
TKEOFF AT 14:25!!
imagine that this was a 26 years old machine.Impressive
Beautiful.
RR..the best engine s aircraft.. the best and amazing cars in the world..God save Great Britain....
