      But at least they're still flying the beautiful A380!✈️ I would love to see that BA A380 come here to JFK one day in the very near future. 🙏🤞

    Beautiful airplane! Interesting watching the ailerons and flaps moving when banking. Such little movement on the aileron to turn such a massive aircraft. Love the Boeing 747!

    What do flaps do? Because don't they use them at take off as well.

    • @KevinAndrew350
      @KevinAndrew350  4 года назад +1

      Flaps create drag and lift. At take off they are partially lowered to generate lift, while at landing they are fully lowered to slow the aircraft as it approaches the runway.

      Hi, yes it was! I was seated in World Traveller Plus, 36A to be exact and it had only just been updated. The seats are the same as the older 747 configs but with new covers, cushioning and an all new entertainment system.

      It depends on the configuration and the cabin class you're travelling in. On my flight it was a World Traveller Plus seat and very nice with plenty of room but it can also be a standard economy seat, either way it should be comfortable.
