  • What's been going on everyone? Welcome to part#2 of this 2005 Suzuki GSXR 1000 knocking sound. In this video I go over how to properly install the Brock's Performance clutch mod because it was installed incorrectly. The real question is did it fix that crazy knocking sound coming from the motor?
Well remember if you have any questions about Motorcycles, Atvs, Utvs, leave a comment are you can email me at Limitlesspowersports78@gmail.com

I hate to hear that. It is a possibility you could have the same issue. But make sure you diag everything before tearing the motor down

I would look in to Brocks Performance clutch parts. I would definitely get some heavier clutch springs. But Brocksperformance.com is where I would start.

I'm actually finishing up a series on a 2006 gsxr750 with a transmission issues. The bike sounds good untill you release the clutch then the transmission engages & makesa back rattle & hoping sounds. It's a really good possibility that you chipped a tooth in the transmission. I would check it out the same way I did this one.

Yes I did. The clutch drum on those year had a double spline you need to line up.

When you're in gear & try to release the clutch do the RPMs go up & the bike just doesn't go anywhere? If so then that would be a clutch issue. Either the clutch is slipping are it's not fully engaging.

Well I would drain your oil. Disassemble the clutxh & check all the plate thickness to see is they are past service limits & see if the steel plates are all burned up are really blued. Sounds like you need a new clutch pack replacement. Easy job & not very expensive. But o.e.m are a good known after market kit. Not one off of Amazon.
