Dude is the biggest party pooper lol
"Primus Sucks!!!!" Is a chant you'll hear at most of their concerts. You should go to a show if you ever get a chance. You'd fit right in!
Primus is so original. Mr negative lol
Check out Primus first album Frizzle Fry! It’s the album before Sailing the seas of cheese! It actually has real funky stuff in!!!!
Yep Frizzle Fry is my favorite album
Yes, that's right!! arrrghhh
@@IndiCrosSpaghetti Western on that album is Primus’s funkiest groove ever!
Yeaahhh Primus are best funkrock all time
I appreciate you for this one, Charles. Primus sucks and I love every minute.
your welcome my bro😄
That bass. There's absolutely nothing negative you can say about this band
Love the bass finger tapping in this track! Different strokes for different folks
10:06 - Yes, they are indeed the squiggly line In a art galley full of boring, straight lines. Sometimes you just want something weird and fun.
Check the "ANTIPOP" album. I think you will like that one🤘🏻
I agree it’s an acquired taste, but you have to appreciate the originality, musicianship, comedic and sometimes political lyrics, bass in the front, krimson style guitar , amalgamation of a country hick voice, playing funk slap bass , only with heavy metal sprinklings every . you either dig or you don’t. obviously i dig it. music is subjective and not everyone thinks like everyone else. it’s a beautiful world.
Primus were trying to do something new and different, and they have a very specific sound. They are abstract, but they are interesting in their idiosyncrasies imo. To me they are super refreshing, but you need to hear more from their discography to get more context. Every album has its own sound. You might prefer their "Brown Album". If you listen to their first album, Frizzle Fry, you'll get the Seas of Cheese more. But I agree, they are an acquired taste.
These guys belong to us here in the Bay Area...East Bay in the house!
P.S. I recommend Queens of the Stone Age "Songs For The Dead".
know very little of their discography myself, just a few popular singles, i'm sure we'll get to them
@marylandstationmusic9422 That song is, in my opinion, Dave Grohl' greatest drum performance on any album.
Any song from that album really. I consider one of the best rock albums ever
Ya man with the Exodus shirt on in a legend
When I look back... My idea of JB is that he has a specific goal to find.
He has a good idea of what he is looking for .
I have done the same thing Charles has done 💯 because we heard the same music from the 90s 😂 but these are not new music or progressive sounds that JB wants to listen to.
Deftones White Pony 🐎 was good to him, because the hip hop drum element is good.
The transition is easily made on that album.
The Blend of hip hop and Rock on albumslike
Worlds collide/ Linkin Park & Jay-Z or funky Rhyme Driven songs like Th1rte3n with Pharaoh.
I've tuned in to see if he finds his new sound to start from. J Dilla Doughnuts might be the instrumental he is looking for. 😅
JB Tha Drummer as
Gordon Ramsay of music.
Charles the Bassist as
The Metronome Time Machine
❤ You guys are on a mission and I'm here for it to hear from it 😅
lads for a bit of groove you have to listen to living colour "memories can't wait" "funny vibe" "middle man" etc etc etc.for feel, groove, musicianship they are something else
I get it, you need music spoon fed to you. Only the simple melodic tunes. You need easy music like elevator tunes.
-Speaks in white boy funk-
Frizzle Fry is a way better album from Primus!
Primus sucks
