Finally. No man sky is starting to feel like a Star Wars game. The recent Star Wars games haven’t been doing it for me and I went to this game to fill that hole in my heart.
Having platinumed the game at launch and never returned, I kind of feel like I should have a look at it again. Maybe. I think I'd be overwhelmed lol, so videos like this help. Thanks!
Tried the game today after a few years break and wow I love this game. Glad to be playing it and really like what I see from the new update. Really enjoying the space combat and exploration. Really love that it's a little more arcade-y when compared to elite dangerous and not as time consuming and you feel like you make progress each time you drop in.
Same here! I hadnt played properly since 2018 (when the NEXT update dropped) and just wrote it off. But something about the Outlaws update caught my eye, fired it up and got hooked. I spent my entire weekend playing and getting lost in this game. HelloGames has done a helluva job improving this game. My hat's off to them!
Super useful and to the point guide. I love it! I'm still quite impressed by this update, much like with Sentinel. However, I have to say that space combat hasn't felt particularly more difficult than before. I have a great explorer ship, but the weapons are far from optimised. And yet, most of the fights so far were quite easy. There have been improvements, but I think there's room for further improvement. Sentinel, by comparison, made the land combat much more compelling, strategic and dangerous.
I love the new outlaw stations, very JJ Abrams stylistically, I especially like how the outlaw mission vendor is in a hollowed out starship. Thanks for the info re starting the outlaw questline, I just started a new playthrough and wanted to skip the main questline and just role play as a smuggler, so this helps, thumbs up man. And lastly, positron ejector still shreds just about anything, just make sure u have fully upgraded shields.
This update came with some frustrating bugs for pretty much everyone where the pirates attack you every 5 minutes no matter where you are. Space, settlement, outpost, underwater.. Even on space stations and on the anomaly you get alerts that you're being attacked lol HG already fixed this for the beta branch, but what surprises me is that so many people genuinely, unironically are convinced this is some weird intentional direction NMS is heading towards and are making posts how "NMS was better when it used to be a relaxing casual game".
For me after I finally kill the pirates they immediately spawn in a new squad. I usually have to reload the previous save because I cannot escape them.. they need to be nerfed some
When i opened on my ps5 i got raided like almost back to back by pirates lol and then the game would crash every like hour to the point i just stopped playing for the day but I’ll try again today so i can Atleast get started on the new update
Pirate heavy! Everywhere! Pirates! The galaxy is highly populated… with pirates! Gimme a missions to progress to some type of Pirate Lord already so they stop! 😩😂
Short, sweet, tons of pointed info. This is literally the only useful video I found on this. The only thing not touched on was the fact that it seems you can't use outlaw portals at all until you go through the quest line. You've given me tons of good info to go off of, thanks!
What about the secret rooms in outlaw stations? There are two secrets rooms on each station, one on each side with a tarp blocking them. Haven’t figured out how to get into them yet.
Question: Why is the upvote counter so low? This is a good general overview and basic guide of what's in the Outlaws update.. The counter should be definitely higher than just 200's range.. It is simple, clean, and to the point.. I wasn't looking for this in particular, but glad I stumbled onto it.. What I was actually searching for was overview of what all the ship weapon changes were in the update.. >.> I heard some weapons gained new functionality and such, so I was looking for that type info.. I heard crazy things like one leeches shields to restore your own and another disabling (stunning) ships, so I wanted to see if I could find anything on that before booting up the game..
Can you explain why I loose money when selling smuggled materials? It says the materials is worth 12 million, and I recieve around 5. So I keep loosing money on smuggling. Makes no sence.
Having same issue say it will sell for much more than you actually get no matter the economy level or the buy sell percentages everything I've smuggled has been at a loss

Tried selling in different solar systems on both space stations and trade stations. Tried selling something for 1 million to test. Got 300k back. Makes no sence. It says I will get 1 million, so how come it only gives 300k (which is less than what I paid)

Species. Not race. Race is variation in a species recognized as a difference between individuals who can interbreed, while different species cannot interbreed. The Gek, Corvax, Vykeen, etc.. are species. Not races.

Plutonium the old red crystal that was used to power the launch thrusters is no longer in the game
