- Just as creeds in the Bible and Christian tradition clarify what Christians have historically believed, today, David Wolcott and I address two sociological creeds that help us understand what those who are part of progressive Christianity believe. Don't miss this conversation!
That second one was all I, Me, I, Me, Mine. Mercy! Thanks Alisa.

Okay, so the previous worldview (90's early oughts) of Hopelessness by American Teens has led to a Secular Humanist Credal Era which may or may not include an 'ambiguous god'...but not a Sovereign God.
So this represents what D.A.Carson calls 'the de-Godding of God".
I see 'Strange Rights' defining itself as Narcissistic in the opening sentence.
"Self-ity Self Self Self!"
I've just been acquainted with the term "Moralistic Therapeutic Deism". What is the difference between that and "the prosperity gospel"? I'm curious. Are the two intertwined?
Where can we watch the whole show??
Mic drop
It's not "Christianity" it's spiritual moral relativism. Using god when it fit's their view of how the world ought to be.
If you want a greater effect of true Historical Biblical, Spirit filled Living Jesus Christ, Christianity, than start demonstrating and loving a life that is filled with the Holy Spirit. Education and theology can only do so much..but get beyond just the talk, and get to the power of God. The life transforming power of the whole Gospel, rather then a neutered Gospel. Signs wonders and miracles, which have not ended nor have been limited after the first century church, rather than, "do you know the doctrines of grace/the original Greek and Hebrew definition of___". The reason why the church in the west had lost the culture and the church overseas is growing, is because they aren't overly educated into a religion.
If there is no objective right or wrong, why do we have societal law? There clearly are things that are right or wrong.
Right. Christianity is wrong.
Anyone talk to Jesus when they’re on the pooper??
:)
Christianity is based on story that a miracle working godman was born of a virgin, came back to life after death and rose up into his Kingdom in the Clouds where he sits on a throne next to the Jewish god Yahweh and judges humanity down below.
Do you really expect me to believe this?
