Excited to see what you do with the AW 6MT. I’d get a SSK and swap the stock 3.62 for a 3.91 to match up the 6 gears. Add a SprintBooster for better H/T downshifts, otherwise the throttle pedal will feel laggy. Ask me how I know, I’ve got 195,000 smiles of track days, airstrips, kid hauling over 15 years in my e60m5 6MT.
4.10 diffs are the go to on the 6MT. 3.91 is the recommended upgrade for the smg
400 dollars a week for 52 weeks is 20k and with that u can pick up a 600hp v10 e60 m5 manual 🤙🏽🤙🏽
500HP, cold AC, for under $10K. very nice.
Love the updates and absolutely LOVE the alpine white M5!!! I recently picked up a 2007 E63 M6 and it’s so much fun!!!
2 cool. + scanner
Manual alpine white very nice wow!
Would LOVE to see a driver review / comparison between the SMG and 6spd. You see reviews for both cars but rarely in the same video and same driver
I need those tall valve covers you take off project Revert. My engine is carbed.
I love this car! If it blows up you'll finally have a reason to LS swap something 🤣 I need to do more research on BMW'S my 330i and 330xi have just been beater daily drivers for me but I love them. Keep making these videos you may sway me to upgrade. I was really looking at a 335d for the power and fuel economy but know 0 about diesels🤷🏼♂️
He has Big Block Godzillas growing in the back yard!
Dude, high lead wear is not good. Do the rod bearings and the s85 will go another 100k+ easy.
Lol this car isn't worth putting the money into
@@TheInfamousProject My bad, I confused you for a true Enthusiast.
@jeremiahex lol a true enthusiast knows what is a good investment vs not. If I was gonna plan to put another 100k on this car it would cost the same amount as buying another one with half the miles. This car will make an excellent donor to someone or another build. Investing in my 2010 e60 Manual m5 = smart investment. If you want to cash me out of this blue one and do the rod bearings, by all means send your offer!
@@TheInfamousProject I understand the investment argument, but still it feels like you're knowingly neglecting this car. That's why these get called unreliable
@@ajjohnson7940 how so? I have done all maintenance required as soon as I got it, analyzed the oil and watching the codes consistently. It makes no sense to invest into rod bearings until the 2nd oil analysis is complete. I got 800 more miles and we will see the outcome.
The blue M5 is really looking good! Amazing how the Bangle-era styling looks so cool now, but was shunned when they were new. Cant wait to learn more about the white one.
The new ones are so ugly, it makes the Bangle era ones look good in comparison.
I have a 2008 E60 M5, I’ve had for over 12 years, Alpine White with full black leather, 64,000 miles, the Bangle era design is aging extremely well with the M5, IMO BMW has lost it’s way
Ya I feel the same way.. couldn't be bothered with the new stuff really. Maybe I'm just getting old lol
@@SmartFirstPrincipleThinking Look at a couploe of the very recent concept cars, they look really good. Most of the production cars, not so much.
On camera it’s looks great. Beautiful color.
I’ll trade you a clean 07 550i
Beutiful color...clean!
