- As the Lakeland100 looms closer, I need to up my elevation game! So I got up early, headed over to Brecon and Pen Y Fan for a leg session. It was well worth it!!
I also plan an Eversting challenge in the lead up to the LL100 so stay tuned, subscribe and follow the journey!

Fantastic effort Francois. Those hill repeats are tiring on the body and mind. I know that tricky boredom feeling. Don't think it will be an issue when you try to Everest as you will have the target to aim for but it might pop up during the long training sessions. Fantastic conditions on the day and a beautiful cloud inversion. Best wishes.

We may have crossed paths at some point because looking at the inversion and the cloud formation in the valley bottom towards Neuadd Reservoir, I'm guessing you ran this Saturday morning just gone. I have a ton of photos of that same formation 😉. I ran the Horseshoe, clockwise, starting and finishing at Torpantau. Great work 👍🏼
Yes! We must've! I was there from 05:30am to around 10:30am and it was beautiful. I spent so long taking photos and videos, it's easy to get carried away! I love the horseshoe route as well, more running than the slog I put myself through!

Stunning cloud inversion! Wonder how many people can say they've run up Pen y Fan 4 times in one day...? Although i guess that'll be smashed if you do go for your Everesting on it!
