      It depends on your setup but if you are just recording and not streaming you can use an external recorder and sync audio to video during editing. There are interfaces also that can allow you to connect your mixer to the phone depending on which mixer you use, if you use a digital mixer you can record on a usb stick

    • @Nutwardgallery
      @Nutwardgallery 11 месяцев назад

      The sound mixer should be able to route a 1/4 mono out that you can cable to your phone. However, you may need a couple of adapters: 1) get a USB-C Male to 3 or 4 USB A inputs and a power input as well. Then get a USB to audio jacks sound device. Make sure that the USB sound is connected to your phone before you open the streaming/recording app. There should be an option in the setup menu to select the USB audio source as the main audio for your stream.

    Hi Sam, when using a smartphone as a second camera in a live-stream situation, how do you suggest acquiring the video signal in OBS? For example, if I have a Lumix M43 camera as one video source via a Camlink4k and USB cable, can I use FilmicPro to give me a second clean video signal via a lightening-to-USB cable using a second USB port on the same computer?

    • @LiveProductionTips
      @LiveProductionTips  3 года назад +2

      Hi Grace,
      To my opinion you can use Filmic Pro to get a second angle with your phone. I wouldn’t recommend adding a second Camlink 4K capture card I would rather invest in something like Atem mini even the base model would still do the job, which would give you up to 4 HDMI inputs at a price of (2 camlink capture cards) plus it will be a more stable and upgradable Setup.
      So the Lightning to HDMI** adaptor combined with Filmic Pro should give you a clean HDMI out from your phone, send that to your capture card and mix with your A camera in OBS.
      Feel free to reach out to me if you need more help

      @LiveProductionTips  Год назад

      Sorry your reply was blocked because of the link, it looks like a lighting issue, your room is probably not enough lit for a phone to give a good image, it could also be your phone settings. Try to increase the exposure just make sure the image is not noisy. if it is noisy then its a lighting issue. Also I am not sure you can zoom in and out on a phone while streaming... Unless you use an app that allows you to do so.

      It depends. How do you capture audio ? Are you using the audio from your phones microphone? Or you have an external device?
