Great video! I use Iriun webcam as the main camera source for our church's livestream. You can connect up to 4 smartphones (if you choose it in the lower-left corner during the installation process). All the channels look good wirelessly if you don't go beyond 1080p. And you don't need a capture card if you decide to use USB cable. You only need to enable USB debugging on Android...
Very useful, thank you! I was about to purchase a webcam, but turned out my Samsung S20FE has crystal clear image at 60fps in OBS. Significantly better image purity and pixel details.
Wow, I’ve been through so many of these apps, I didn’t believe you. It’s awesome. I can’t believe how fast it is. There is less lag than my SonyA7 which hardwired into black magic hdmi. Thank you!
Great video, so straight forward. I got OBS working the other day with the iOS app but this has saved me the cost of that app and I'm going to have fun testing it with Serato DJ Pro 🙂
great video, thanks so much for this, but i have a problem. i couldn't find iriun in the sources after following all the steps. i even tried restarting OBS several times but to no avail still. am using windows 10
how did you create that title that says sam and the cool sound affect as well as the subscribe button with the cool sound affect? did you make this in OBS studio or did you add those in after the video was recorded in OBS studio using some sort of video editor?
I created it using a template inside Adobe Premiere pro which is my video editing software. Then I can add it anywhere I want in my videos or Live streams
Not super easy. It doesn't work. I have a new Macbook M3 Pro with Sonoma 14.4.1 and an iPad Pro 11-inch 3rd generation with iOS 17.3.1. The Continuity Camera is hit or miss. For me it's miss. I tried every solution listed in the Apple forum short of safe mode and re-installing the OS. I locked the iPad in portrait mode, made sure Bluetooth is on, that they're on the same wireless network, that the firewall isn't blocking anything, that Handoff is turned off, that Continuity Camera is on, etc. I tried connecting the iPad's Bluetooth to the Macbook but it won't pair and apparently that's not necessary anyway. This is a broken "feature" that Apple needs to fix. For context, I can connect the iPad to this Macbook M3 Pro or a Windows 10/11 PC using the Elgato EpocCam Pro app on the iPad and the (free) Elgato Camera Hub (1.9) software running on Sonoma and I get 1080p video from the iPad camera wirelessly. It's dead simple and works flawlessly, but OBS can't see the Camera Hub video as a source on the Mac. It can see it just fine on a PC. I can also connect an Android phone to Windows 10/11 using DroidCamX and use its camera for 1080p. I cannot get video from Apple's Continuity Camera no matter what I try, and of course it doesn't show up as a source in OBS, whether I try connecting wirelessly or with USB-C. Buyer beware. If it works for you, you're in luck. Best bet is to not use OBS on a Mac. It works much better on a PC.
To do that you can use SRT or VDO ninja can do that. Get them to connect their phone to VDO ninja using an invite link you will send them or download an application that can support SRT and send to you the link you can use in OBS
I have never used it on Mac but if you have installed the App it should show up. You can restart OBS and see also make sure it’s well installed and you can preview the signal
