@@ShawnRaythe delay wasn’t VDO Ninja, it was the audio timeline slipping. VDO Ninja delay is due to internet speed, it has to send the camera to the website and then to OBS. Genuinely surprised how little delay it is after all that.
The editing on this video is great. The content itself is amazing too. I'm always baffled by people doing how to videos about a subject while showing themselves doing a poor job at it. You definitely set the bar high showing the tools and showing yourself doing a great job at it. It's very useful and your pace is perfect. any mac users like me you can use continuity camera on your iphone there’s no delays and it doesn’t get too hot but still a little. not all iphones are supported and you can’t use two at once or leave the wifi network but for me it works perfectly and doesn’t need a download
I have both a Mac and a built windows pc. If I could use own3d pro on my Mac computer I totally would love to use my iPhone 14 Pro Max camera as my video overlay. But the packages I purchased via Own3d Pro keep me streaming on my built PC. The starting soon, BRB, Ending stream & Just chatting scenes are well worth using my PC.
I love the glitch pro. I use that one currently, I previously used dark glitch. My gaming chair is black and white though so it fits my on screen look better 🙌

Could you please point me in the right direction of which device has better recording between the two and if I should buy a webcam to use with one or the other device (whichever one is recommended). Also, how do I get A and B rolls of the same quality? I tried recording with the built-in cameras of my IPhone and Macbook, and when I edited using both rolls you can clearly see the difference in imaging as to which is the IPhone and which is the Mac. Once I decide on which device to use, do I buy two webcams to attach to it so I can get the dual rolls I need? Any and all info is greatly appreciated!
i have epoccam pro and have been a user for about a yr now using it thru wifi is honestly buns just use a decent lighting cable only plus is when you leave it on auto it will automatically switch

I wish there a way to use the extra Samsung S23+ that I got as a webcam without any additional software. Mostly because I don't like adding any extra lag or any extra loss in frame rate while gaming etc. due to there being a completely separate software such as (CAMO) requiring to be open at the same time as OBS while at the same time whatever game I'm playing is open. It's very demanding on most PCs. I can still definitely get away with it and that's what I've been doing thus far, but I feel like there's got to be a better way! To be fair I haven't watched this video yet. Perhaps you give me a better option than using CAMO?
Is there a way to rotate the iPhone camera that’s filming? I want to film vertically but when I hold my phone vertically, it just zooms in from the horizontal video instead of rotating the camera, so my video ends up being zoomed in. I’ve tried rotating the aspect ratio and it just zooms in more from the horizontal camera. If that makes sense, is there a solution? Thanks

Is there a way to use video ninja for recording rather than just streams? Or some other (free or cheap) tool? I use OBS for recording and I've been using my phone camera. There was an easy way to set it up on Mac and I don't even remember what I did, but now I have a windows PC and wanted to use it for recording sometimes. All I could find was the OBS camera app, which I have to either pay monthly for to remove the watermark, or pay $70 lifetime fee. For something that I only plan to use to make my phone a camera, which I can already do free on my Mac, I can't justify spending that.
Better off having a PC with OBS installed, and then you can run your console THROUGH a capture card to the PC into OBS, and stream off the PC. Console streamers can’t do much without that set up.

I tried Epoc Cam and epoc cam pro and on multiple occasions it would randomly disconnect my phone during my stream, leaving me with a big black box on live stating "no webcam connected" or something like that. Would not recommend that one.

Two apps, one is a web browser app that doesn’t need to be connected. The other is the elgato tool which can be either but many can’t get working wirelessly.
i dont see anyone else with this problem but after a short period of time (30-60 seconds) my vodninja feed freezes on obs, not in my phone though, just my pc. is there a fix for this? i cant find a fix anywhere and it’s driving me mad
@Slay_Jaymake sure you’re using the vodninja app on your phone rather than the website, also have your phone plugged in to charge if you can, i did both of those things and it fixed it

I tried connecting my Iphone 11 to my windows 10 monitor + PC/"box" through Wifi but it didn't work. I tried by connecting my computer with my Iphone though wires and it didn't work either. What am I doing wrong? Do I need a specific app to connect through wifi or a specific cord? I literally cannot continue streaming without setting this up.
It's done in this order because not everyone can use Elgato, since it only works with certain devices (and barely works.) Starting with Elgato would essentially exclude a huge section of the audience, so instead I give everyone the option I use thats fully wireless, free, AND can be used by anyone, then show the one that costs money, barely works, and doesn't work for everyone. You don’t correct white balance in OBS :) you set it on the camera and lights, only adjust in OBS IF it’s adjusting the camera settings and not just editing the image.
69th like, nice. That squirtle squad LED light is cool. I got gifted a Metroid one by partner, but it flickers on camera. Is this something that I need a better camera to resolve, because the anti flicker settings on my webcam don't help. A friend told me a camera where you can control the shutter speed is key. I think any camera you use you need ISO, Shutterspeed, and F Stop control. It’s the triangle of exposure. The LED flickers because it’s hz are syncing with the cameras frames per second. It often happens when you’re shooting a format like PAL, but the light runs a current that is from America NTSC, or it’s just cheap manufacturing. Changing your shooting format, FPS, and lowering shutterspeed are the solutions to the flicker.

Yep, you’re sending the camera over the internet, so it absolutely adds to it. Hence why my shots don’t look amazing all the time, my internet wifi is fast but unstable.

Just send the video from VDO Ninja to OBS, and hit record in OBS, simple.
