These are all some great points and tips! I think the biggest one is your point on real growth happening when you aren’t actually streaming! Posting videos in short and long form are really important, I wish everyone the best of luck in your streaming career!
I feel like all I ever get for viewers are art concept people trying to sell me designs and after a while now, it's getting annoying and demoralizing the fact that's all who I'm reaching.
Great video. I’ve only been streaming and putting off the rest of the work, but I can finally change my twitch name due to 2 months policy and I’ll create socials and start learning how to edit. I’m fat from successful even though I’ve only been doing it for a month and I really want to step up my game because I think I’ll be good at it. Not many people watching at the moment, most of the time it’s actually just me, but I am not going to give up yet :)
Really helpful for a person who want to become a streamer and already tried Twitch and Kick to see what is going on there. In my best, I have 7 viewers in a moment on Kick with 32 followers. Never reached that point on Twitch because tons of people are there so you kinda need to step forward. I already got tired of uploading videos to RUclips because I made mistakes soo :/
@ Yes definitely! I've also experienced that on RUclips. I was uploading an hour long videos and ending up with 20 views. When I upload my fiest Shorts, it got 13K views I was shocked 😅
Just starting out and those were the only chats i got aside from obvious bots asking me to join their discord so they could "give me an instant audience of 1000 viewers"
Are there stats anywhere on conversion rates between viewers of short form like tiktok and Shorts going to twitch/kick? I keep hearing that shorts will help stream views but don't people just stay on their preferred platform, for example tiktok?
So after much testing, you are correct that most people will stick to their preferred platforms. However, if your content overlaps with what you're streaming on Twitch/Kick/etc and the viewer also uses that platform, then they will likely follow your channel if you include CTAs at the end of your shorts etc. (i.e. follow me on twitch in the last 2 seconds of your short) - There's a lot of overlap between video platforms (YT/TT/IG) and Twitch so if they usually consume live content, then a lot of the time they also are a Twitch user as well. It's really a numbers game.
I don't know if you can help me. I'm trying to multi stream eventually but in the meantime start with tiktok. I just can't figure out the audio settings in tiktok from elgato wavelink
im on kick and i stream valorant but im getting no views and only have 20 followers what should i do, i only stream on weekends cus my parents only allow on weekends

I went to go drink a cup a tea to fill better, and I am glad I watch this rather then an episode of something. This helped out thank you.

You got this in the bag! Especially when you start doing the additional work outside of streaming (:

Thanks! I'd highly recommend going down the short-form content route for the reasons I mentioned in the video :D

Multistream to Twitch and apply the things we talked about in this video (:
@@CpawsMusic i multistream to twitch and yt aswell i didnt add in befor but still i get very little views
@@victryroyale Apply the tactics we talked about in the video - simply streaming and going live with no plan is not enough
