I am impressed by the difficulty of dismantling this car and you have shown great technicality and patience, congratulations for that. In addition, you create a tutorial to learn how to disassemble a Mc Laren. The price of the parts is prohibitive and unjustified but here it is, it's a McLaren. I really hope you find your way around the sale price.
Another great video. I thought this rebuild was too easy given how hard I’ve heard McLaren’s are to repair. You should have the stereo guys come and upgrade speakers, amps etc. while car is taken apart. Looking great.

Can't believe those hoses could not be fabricated at a hydraulic hose shop. That's their main gig is building hoses of all sizes and shapes, fittings and pressure ratings too. Used to work at a Volvo heavy equipment shop and the field techs were always running off to have hoses made up on the spot. Way cheaper and absolutely quicker to have them made instead of ordering them.
I like that you're straight to the point, no bullshit and special effects.

3M makes a spray adhesive remover safe for paint and other finishes that sprayed in from the edges may have softened up and made the job a bit easier. I use it to remove emblems and adhesive residue on the cars I have messed with.

Fishing wire and heat is a good way to remove sticky details like the carbon bit on the door..
Feel sorry for the guy who gave up trying to get the car fixed. Little wonder with light fingered workshops. Not many like LNC, the skill and workmanship is brilliant.

the scratches on the door are the claw marks of the pit bull who ate the seat my friend. I have one of those in my house and he eats and scratches everything. the build is very nice my friend, have fun with it. take care.

Vlad, I'm curious, why didn't you use the the sealer with fiberglass mix instead with the inside doorlock area in vid 3 (30:30) ....was it because damage was worse there?
