....been there....done that....bought used racing radiator for my Corvette race car build...a very high end piece...then months later when final assembly was done and fired the car up for the first time...same deal...pinhole leaks...I feel your pain! You got the right attitude however, with the car game...Just Do It and keep moving forward!!!

As I’m sure you know, those tubes are an easy fix for an old-school radiator repair shop. It’s just finding one these days! All those repair places slowly disappearing. Maybe then get a few bucks back on EBay or keep in the spares?

You are welcome! the dolphin glaze and the tape top edge, sand bottom edge, tape bottom edge remove the top tape, sand top edge, then glaze helped out. And the piece of bumper plastic to fit in place, soldering iron, glass net resin inside, Bondo ext of dented bumper plastic was an epic tip. I just got done repairing the front end of my camry, could have used those tips then, but since doing it at home, the final product needs a better environment than my driveway and complaining neighbors. I need to rent a spray boooth and reapply paint in some areas and redo some clear. I'm using sherwin willims atx system, primer-sealer, atx paint, acme finish. I had to replace the front end radiator support panel, still need to weld just screwed it back together. Funny thing is now im able to dissamble this car in 15 min to 1/2 hr tops. I went tto a pick a part and stripped another camry for the parts replace Hood, bumper cover L/R fender., lights, etc
At minute 14:15 I spotted a broken airfilter box that needs to be replaced too... Like so many things during this rebuild.. Wow!
But what strikes me the most.. is that a lot of Fiber Glas is used on this car. And I was assuming that everything is Carbon FIbre on that car....

Love what you are doing with the exotics! I am very lucky to have my dream car and be able to put it together myself, It's a 59 Corvette resto mod. Real 59 Corvette body with vin, SR111 racing chassis, 6.0L ls2, Tremec 5 speed, Dana 44 IRS, C4 suspension with dual adjustable coil overs and tons of chrome and stainless. Cheers!

I also work as a Auto body technician, it is like putting Lego's together sometimes, the only challenge is trying to make sure the frame isn't bent or else the Lego's don't go together. But you're right wouldn't trade my job for another, the best job in the world to me.

If the wheel alignment is that far out, something is going to be bent! Would be good to see a full suspension and steering inspection before you get the wheels aligned. 👍

It should be a pressure test for rads before you install so you wouldn't have to go through this if the part is bad. Maybe it is and I don't know, but if it's not, it should be.
