I thought I'd try something a little different and so I put together this quick recap of the past 30 episodes and nearly two full years that we've spent on this car so far. I'm hoping to have the next video up soon and just so I feel pressured into it, I'm going to completely finish the widebody. Stay tuned. Sick vid an skills beautiful work gtr35 stagea wide body who would have thought are we able to purchase kits from you ❤it keep up the excellent mahi support from SHWKID an FAMZ
99.9 procent of people have NO idea how much work this it.. how detailed this dude is making it, and how insanely many hours he's putting in to this.. not to mention how hard this work is! I've been working fixing all brands the last 15 years, and then 5 years for Mercedes.. this work he's doing is amazing and impressive to say the least!! I'm filled with respect and admiration!! Keep going brother!💪
This channel is amazing because it focuses on the meticulous details of the creation process, repeating motions with great precision. It's something that the average person couldn't easily imitate. It's unique and fantastic!
Finally man. Was a great series though for real and i learned alot. around episode 19-20 i started bodywork on my own s13 after 10 years of owning it using what i learned from your videos. thanks for that man
This is hands down my favorite build series in youtube history. The attention to detail and workmanship is out of this world. Congrats and keep up the good work!
Mach weiter so.
I was amazed at the meticulous detail to attention making the wings and masking tape stencils, the finish of the product was amazing. I then realized he was making a mould from those wings I was like NO F*CKING WAY !!!! Abosolutely amazing skill and craftsmanship .. no words can describe the skill and patients. Great video and editing - loved every minute of it
RUclips recomended me this video and i watched it from end go end, truly top tier masterful work, as someone who wants to one day make a bumper for my car too, watching glass fiber work being done like this teaches me a lot, also the use of a 3d printer to mirror the parts is a game changer, making parts simmetrical would be a pain and this speeds up the process, it's also the process i plan on using as i have the 3d model for the bumper i want so yeah, one day, great work, i hope you plan on selling this kit after so much work and money invested into creating moulds for everything, now ill go watch the next episode!
This guy is truly talented, i plan to do this with my own cars as in making the widebody moulds and creating kits for people to buy. I love this guys work and its teaching and inspiring me to do it sooner.
Your hand movements, the way you handle objects ,that is a sign of high caliber. I have worked with some brilliant people who gave me the same vibe when ever i looked at their hand movements.
So good, makes me feel like I can do this type of work someday...man I gotta learn to weld. Edit: Such great attention to detail and great ideas for fabrication!
@TofuAutoWorks I'd do my research on that before committing, since you're heavily inspired by rocket bunny's intellectual property, their lawyers might have something to say about that. You've done a great job and poured thousands of hours into your vision, don't let it bite you in the ass. Keep up the amazing work!!
@@TheDutchGuy110 A team of guys swapping a drivetrain from one Subaru to another Subaru does not come close to this build. This is one man who has spent thousands of hours completely transforming the body of this wagon by designing and fabricating fiberglass molds and parts by hand, from scratch! The level of skill and attention to detail it takes to accomplish this is beyond what MCM did in their build... That's just my opinion though.
This work is amazing, but easier ways are exist. -Scan the stock body area -Design body kit parts by a CAD program like Solidworks etc.. -Manufacture the wood mold housing for actual parts with by a simple CNC wood router. -Create your fiber parts inside mold body.
No engine plans for this one. But fingers crossed I'll be unveiling a build soon which has been years in the making including a very unique engine swap and build.
With the moulds it will be totally possible to make a full kit from carbon. For this car I'm planning on painting the whole thing so there isn't any need for it to be carbon, but perhaps on a future one.
If you make a kit I'm keen . I was looking a few years back to see if someone made a conversion kit . only cos The 34 front end has been done plenty of times , this looks the goods.
These will be for sale hopefully by the end of this year / early next year. Will be an 11 piece kit including the widebody and fenders but wont come with bonnet, headlights, or front bumper because I want people to be able to choose their own to make each one unique.
@TofuAutoWorks perfect I'll definitely be grabbing a kit off u 👌 Now to find a clean stagea here in Aus. I've got a vr38 ready too. 😂. Was going to do a 34 front on a mates stagea but think this looks the goods , time for a 35 gtr wagon project . Whay year model is yours ? Cheers for the reply bro
Dude you made some really nice molds you should sell those, I dont know how many people are doing these conversions but I feel like you could definitely make some money off those fender molds.

Sorry if you've been asked this before, but why did you not just add the front flares to the original wings you made, rather than going through two rounds of mould making? Awesome and inspirational work as always.
Hey mate, no problem. The options were to either make the flares as separate pieces which would have still needed moulds to be made, or to build the flares in to the original fenders and sideskirts which cuts down the number of pieces I have to make in each kit and helps me keep the costs down when these kits go up for sale.

Don't know the why but the results speak for themselves. Quality craftsmanship.
Any other build video I’d skip forward to the end result… I truly enjoy watching your process. You sir are an absolute legend and an artist 👨🏼🎨

I have been watching this series for so long, I have forgotten what the original front end looked like!
Indeed, the Skygea's gone so far, I also forgot what the old front looked like lol

I strongly feel that we should go ahead with mass production and sales of this aero kit.
This is my first introduction to your channel, incredible work and attention to detail. Well done sir, can't wait to see it finished.

I'm not a fan of wagon's, but this is probably one of the coolest wagon builds on YT.
I beg you to reconsider, the guys from MCM had built a STI Levorg combining the best of both worlds

Amazing work. Really amazing.
WOW ! Your SO talented mate ! 👍
Amazing quality! Congrats
Thank you for making such an awesome content
Absolutely genius work!
Really nice work you have done.. I can't wait to see how the back it's going to look like.. i hope to see some gtr taillights😉
Very skilled. Period!
Çok emek vermişsin tebrik ederim çok güzel oldu 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🇹🇷
The best work ever
Yang di tunggu tunggu🤩
when i had my stagea i was looking for a r35 front conversion...love that wagon
Fantastic job 😮
Cool i like this GT-R stagea 👍👍

Only 1 thing I'd try change is that eye sore gas tank lid bit. Prolly just would've made the wide body kit flow and just relocate it somewhere else. 🤔
Have you considered making the d-pillar a bit wider and slightly slanting the inner graphic? It'd add a lot of dynamism to the overall car
iv been keeping up with the build love it, any engine build ideas ? would love to it

you should build the rear door like Gtr lights and shape it will be awesome
