What an exciting and innovative project! Turning a V4 compressor into a dual turbocharger for a V4 engine showcases impressive engineering skills and creativity. This kind of modification not only enhances performance but also demonstrates a deep understanding of automotive mechanics. It’s fascinating to see how one can repurpose existing technology to achieve better efficiency and power. Your ingenuity can inspire many aspiring engineers and enthusiasts to explore their own projects and push the boundaries of what’s possible. They should be connected to bowls of carburetor or other parts to help with higher demand of fuel then on boost. But he just hidden them behind and then didn't even run them at all. Funny thing is , if run them in suck throu configuration, he would not need them and maybe even make some power . And those turbos whould be cooked in any application with more then 5 minutes of running them . His oil system is garbage with any pressure or flow so turbos whould get air locked. And i thing that block would Twist or crack because of temperature difference

OMG, I was an Emglo service tech forr 5 years. Always enjoyed those v4's! Clean up those cranks and put fresh rods, send it! We did Kellogg, Champion, Quincy, name it.... But you're creation is a work of ART!!!!!!

    • @paradiselost9946
      @paradiselost9946 3 месяца назад +39

maybe art, but outright trickery, ie, turbos that cannot actually work, is the thing a charlatan resorts to.
hint. look at the "reference" lines on the front of the turbos. where do they GO? thats a massive leak, isnt it?
on the last run, even the fittings have been removed... a BIGGER leak!
wheres the pitot tube feeding boost reference to the carb bowls? essential part of any "blow through" setup.
if the bowls experienced any boost... wheres the fuel pump to force fuel in against boost?
on the vz21 turbo, one of those flange mounting holes on the front is open directly to the compressor side of the wheel... more air leaks?
i was about to mention wastegates but one shot does show them blocked off with a bolt, so no argument on that point. yet again, that bolt is easily removed before bolting the exhausts on, and you never get another look inside there..
if you are a service tech for air compressors, i would hope you have at least a basic knowledge of how a turbo SHOULD be set up, and that open ended hoses and compressors with serious air leaks generally cant build pressure...
and that clear vinyl tube dealing with hot oil from a turbocharger is going to last literally minutes at best...
trickery, fakery, and useless "bling" doesnt strike me as being very "artistic" at all...
      it reeks of "scam".
if he had stuck to the engine by itself... i wouldnt have any complaints.
as it is, its earnt itself a report...

Great work, just needs a stronger oil pump and other set of carburetors. If the turbos make nmany boost, you will loose all power because these aren't blow-through carburetors, they are draw-through. That means they only work on vaccum because Venturi, blow-through on the other hand needs pressurized fuel and a fuel regulator.
A simpler way to do it, would be to take those 2 carburetors and put them on the turbo intake, that would solve it.
    Have a great day

TBF an engine is basically just a compressor. Instead of using the rotating mass to compress air for storage, it uses it for power generation or movement.

the last scenes great... theyre removed entirely, and left open.... just a "minor air leak", i guess.

I couldn’t tell if you let the penetrating oil sit for long enough or not, but from what it looked like you went straight from applying it to cranking the bolts off. Just know, the longer it sits, the more it’ll break through the rust on those threads and make it so much easier to break them free, and will greatly decrease the risk of breaking the bolt heads off the threads :)

If you want this engine to make any boost you'll need to add a boost reference from ether the turbo intake housing or the charge pipe and connect that the side of the carburettor and the Bottom of the carb. Then ether add another boost reference to the top of the fuel tank if you are using a gravity fuel system. But if you are using a fuel electronic fuel pump you'll need to add a fuel pressure regulator with a 1:1 boost reference.
