    The oil routing and using an old pump as a tensioner was smart. I was expecting a total loss system at first. Dunno how long plastic tubes will hold up with the heat though. Looks like #1 is more oil starved than #2. Though it appears both are getting a decent amount to the heads.

      In theory you can produce up to 1atm/~14.7psi of boost(Considering we don't have any leak and no extra space between the pump/engine for the air to expend) since the compressor compress air once per rotation while the engine intakes once every 2 rotations.
      But a good portion if not more of the power gained will be consumed in the process due to the force needed to compress air, leaks and inefficiencies.

    Congrats! You were a very lucky guy to find all these parts in your scrap metal bin, as there are two identical cylinder heads that also fitted to the compressor cylinders, the timing chains and cogs etc. Nice work, btw!

    I as one, have to agree that this young man is pretty smart. That said....someone (parents, someone else or both ) educated this young man and he obviously wanted a good education and glory be has access to all those mouth drooling tools. My my, What I would have given when I was about that age and the education to use them. Michael said that, I'm proud of you young man, keep it up and get as much more education as you can. Michael said all of that bye for now my friend.

      I don't imagine much power being made lol, those pistons look to be half the size of my cars pistons, and it's a 3.0 v6

    • @georgebamber6871
      @georgebamber6871 4 года назад +13

      @@Dappersworth mathematically that would make it a 2.0 v8 that's plenty enough power for a small car

    • @Dappersworth
      @Dappersworth 4 года назад +4

      @@georgebamber6871 Welllll..not quite; The stroke of that thing is probably less than my cars engine, which would reduce the size even lower than 2.0L. My guess is with 8 cylinders it would be between 2.0L and 1.5L. You'd probably need forced induction to get any practical power out of using 4 of those things.
