Disgusting you called him an engineer, almost as if you don't know how engineers got us into the fucked up place we are in today. Engineers are scum and none of them have ever even tried to work on the trash they create and that is why we reserve the name solely for their ilk. When have you ever seen an engineer work?
@@sizzlean9459 Dude, I think you may be right in part of what you're saying, but I don't agree with everything ... Secondly, to say that all engineers are incompetent and the only ones responsible for all the garbage that this capitalist consumption system generates, is like wanting to blame only one soldier, for all the deaths on a battlefield. Take it easy guy, because if the scale hangs just to one side, it may be because it’s unregulated, or broken, or maybe it’s not the right scale for what you’re trying to weigh ...

You should be very proud of what you have accomplished. Changing the size of the ports, and especially the shape of the ports at the top end would yield a lot more power and make a smoother running engine. But tomorrow is another day. Great job.
That’s how we ended up with the modern 450f. When Yamaha made the first 400f it was built by converting a yz250 into a 2 stroke with a 4 stroke top end from a street bike

If this guy had a CNC mill, he'd be running the planet before long. Elon Musk should be hunting this guy down. He could cut space launch expenses by 85%.
For fuel a 2stroke doesn't work the same as a 4stroke so where his reed sits it wouldn't get fuel to the top of the piston without him doing that normally on 4 stroke the carb goes to the barrel top end & a 2 stroke goes to bottom crank up so if he didn't channel it fuel would never make it to the top of the piston as it's a 4 stroke abit complicated to explain but in that kind of way is how it works what he done was needed for sure
i wouldn't have believed it if i hadn't seen it with my own eyes. It just goes to show. When you see a problem and your answer is not "It's impossible" but more like it is possible if we can find a way to do it.
convert 4 stroke gasoline to diesel. You need fuel injectors for this. But it might not work because of the too high compression. Or convert diesel to gas thats easier
@@dieselgeezer18 im no machinist but I think the problem would be that litterally the engine block is too weak it's not about bolts and shit it's about the body of the whole engine but again I'm no engineer lol
Me trying this: Step 1 : Taking engine apart, step 2 : can’t find half of the parts three years later . step 4 : Throwing it away because I never figured out step 3...
So no anyone, only some few people are interesting to realize what they've got in their mind. Today in our consumer way of life, lot's of us just want money to buy something, not to build it or realize it...
That would be much more difficult, 4 to 2 your simplifying the engine, if you go the opposite, your having to add a bunch more things that simple engine didn't have before, you could do it, but it would require a completely new block (or heavily modifying the original) and many new pieces (basically the entire rotating mass) and not to mention valves and valve trane, much more difficult to do in reverse
I like how you noticed in the middle of the project that the engine is aluminum and needs a different glue an aluminum tig . So, you simply bought one from amazon lololol ahahahahaahaha. Fair play for doing it the difficult way. You could of just fitted a 2 stroke top end that had the inlet on the barrel and not had to do a lot of the modifications to the crank case ECT. Wouldn't of been as interesting a video tho 😎
@@bulko89 nope, the fuel mixture enters the combustion chamber through a inlet hole located part way down the cylinder, it goes nowhere near the engine oil system. It's a very widely used design on 2 stroke engines.

It is simply amazing the capacity and competence that this "engine sculptor" has ... he is the engineer, the mechanic, the turner, the welder, in short, the full accomplisher of something that any expert would say is impossible to do, even more without the precision equipment he didn’t have… this guy is a magician!
First, I disagree with radicalisms and generalizations, which is always dangerous and unfair, since every issue has at least two sides to be analyzed ...
That is absolutely amazing. That guy needs a full shop with fully stocked tools and a CNC machine with all the bits.😎
Amazing........ I was always searching for 4 stroke converted to 2 stroke engine video but today it turned into reality........ Now 2 stroke conversion in 4 stroke engine video.... Please
No your weren't, there's millions of others but you don't like them cause they are American or from a different country.

Um dos melhores videos de mecanica q ja vi no youtube! Simplesmente fez acontecer algo q eu achava impossivel de fezer, um motor 4T virar um 2T!
Incrivel!, Tem meu respeito pro resto da vida!!!
The fact that you have the ability to not only think this up, you have all the skills and determination. I'd hate to use a drill press as a milling machine but you did like a pro
Я не знаю иностранного языка, пишу на русском. My English is very bad, i Russian. Это реально круто, сколько лет работаю с двигателями, а нам с ребятами на работе такое и в голову не приходило! Потрясающая работа! И хорошо с аргонно-дуговой сваркой справляешься.
i cant believe this ended up on a motorcycle, amazing hahaha
Might as well just invent the 3 stroke engine after this
Lmfao
it is called wankel
@@the_harbour_boys rotary engines has 3 "cycles"... intake, combustion and exhaust
It’s called a rotory engine
It’s been done already
You should be very proud of what you have accomplished. Changing the size of the ports, and especially the shape of the ports at the top end would yield a lot more power and make a smoother running engine. But tomorrow is another day. Great job.
next turn 2 stroke engine to 4 stroke
😂
😂
That’s how we ended up with the modern 450f. When Yamaha made the first 400f it was built by converting a yz250 into a 2 stroke with a 4 stroke top end from a street bike
Haven’t even watched the video I can already tell that’s gonna be easier
Watch the video in reverse bud!
This is one of the coolest things I have ever seen
First tig welding project, genius level engineering. Much respect, amazing!👌👍🏴
You can build one milling machine! I believe in you!
no he cant
he just used a drill press for milling and ignored the fact that a drill press isnt made for that use
So what lol
He used a drill press perfectly but didkt realize that a mill was cheaper then a tig welder
Thank god it wasn’t a 2 stroke into a 4 stroke that would scare me. We need more conversions like this.
I hope some manufacturers start sponsoring you already, these videos are the best, entertaining and well produced, keep it up!
Excellent job . This young man just showed a higher level of knowledge ....and no, I don't obtain the understanding of this but when I see something that impresses me i understand Ive got a long road ahead of me.
16:01 next time press the crank off from the crank pin, if you press the pin through the crank you can damage the crank
That’s actually crazy to make it and then put it on ur bike and have it run. Cool video
Masterpieces don't rely on tools, they depend on creativity.. Keep it up 💪🏻💪🏻👍🏻👍🏻
When we're stranded on a desert island - that happens to have a big junkyard for some reason - this is the fella we want to have with us.
He really went to town with that engine 🤣
Got I lost
That is actually insane dude awesome fabrication work you brought that motor back from the dead
Next, turn a 2 stroke engine into a 4 stroke.
Difficult
that would be something., but i guess thats not easy.
i think he made it already..
2 stroke is realy easyer than 4 stroke. That's the reason why you can turn 4 stroke in 2 but the opposite is too difficult
@Gabriel Rezende I didn't said that's impossible but for building 4 stroke machine you need more resources, factory machine,...
That was awesome, now I wanna see a gas engine converted to diesel!
NOT ONLY DID HE TURN A 4T into a 2T BUT HE EVEN MADE IT LOOK GOOD. wow, ur talented ngl
Make A 2Stroke into A 4Stroke
That might be a bit more tricky without the proper machine tools
@@kenjsr1 but if anyone can do it he can I bet
Technically, he could just return this one to it's original configuration.
he kinda did it with the compressor
@@hugolundmark5947 all he needed was a carb and an exhaust instead of the tank.
"Poor mans milling machine" I haven't even got a drill 😂😂😂
If this guy had a CNC mill, he'd be running the planet before long. Elon Musk should be hunting this guy down. He could cut space launch expenses by 85%.
This is how i milled shit... crappy 200$ drill press and some cutters
dont know why he milled that bit of that circular barrel thing
@@tonyfremont calm down haha, any skilled mechanic could work this out
For fuel a 2stroke doesn't work the same as a 4stroke so where his reed sits it wouldn't get fuel to the top of the piston without him doing that normally on 4 stroke the carb goes to the barrel top end & a 2 stroke goes to bottom crank up so if he didn't channel it fuel would never make it to the top of the piston as it's a 4 stroke abit complicated to explain but in that kind of way is how it works what he done was needed for sure
i wouldn't have believed it if i hadn't seen it with my own eyes. It just goes to show. When you see a problem and your answer is not "It's impossible" but more like it is possible if we can find a way to do it.
convert 4 stroke gasoline to diesel. You need fuel injectors for this. But it might not work because of the too high compression. Or convert diesel to gas thats easier
Diesel requires higher compression and runs at much higher pressure and temps so even if he could turn gasoline to diesel it would I think blow up
@@Gamer-nc8qp put stronger bolts and bolt them tighter might work
@@dieselgeezer18 im no machinist but I think the problem would be that litterally the engine block is too weak it's not about bolts and shit it's about the body of the whole engine but again I'm no engineer lol

How about trying to do the opposite thing of this??? (Converting a 2-stroke motor to 4-stroke)
Or gas to desel
Just watch the video backwards. Doh!
think husqvarna alredy did that ?
That would be much more difficult, 4 to 2 your simplifying the engine, if you go the opposite, your having to add a bunch more things that simple engine didn't have before, you could do it, but it would require a completely new block (or heavily modifying the original) and many new pieces (basically the entire rotating mass) and not to mention valves and valve trane, much more difficult to do in reverse
He do more.. He turn a compresor to 4 stroke engine

Fair play for doing it the difficult way. You could of just fitted a 2 stroke top end that had the inlet on the barrel and not had to do a lot of the modifications to the crank case ECT. Wouldn't of been as interesting a video tho 😎
Wouldn't the fuel get into all oil systems if you did that?
@@bulko89 nope, the fuel mixture enters the combustion chamber through a inlet hole located part way down the cylinder, it goes nowhere near the engine oil system. It's a very widely used design on 2 stroke engines.
@@Impulse_Guy Wouldn't the intake need to have some forced air system on it?
@@BrokenLifeCycle No,the fuel,air,2t oil charge is drawn into the combustion chamber by the vacuum created by the piston on it's downward stroke towards BDC.
