Hate to break it to you guys who haver never seen Chester live early in LP or even at the start of some shows/tours. His voice often cracked. He had to warm up and he only improved by repetition. He also hated to do soaring vocals but still had a lot of them and struggled with them the most, yet those are what we all remember. Give her time and support and she will only get better. She is already an amazing singer but can get better, just like Chester.

Yes, those voice cracks happened during live concerts like Rock am Ring, after continuously singing for 1-2 hours under direct sunlight, sweating all over his body, in front of a 500,000+ German crowd. Under the stress and the amount of scrutiny she is under right now, I think it’s much more likely she is overlooking basic vocal hygiene and pushing herself further than she normally would musically because she feels she has something to prove. Not really, first live in chester shoes took the nerve toll and this was the only time in 1+ hour performance where she got fire later… not to mention live concerts after this. LP 2.0 all day long

Hate to break it to you guys who haver never seen Chester live early in LP or even at the start of some shows/tours. His voice often cracked. He had to warm up and he only improved by repetition. He also hated to do soaring vocals but still had a lot of them and struggled with them the most, yet those are what we all remember. Give her time and support and she will only get better. She is already an amazing singer but can get better, just like Chester.
Doing that for hours 3-4 days a week on tour is like putting you vocal chords thru a meat grinder.

Yes, those voice cracks happened during live concerts like Rock am Ring, after continuously singing for 1-2 hours under direct sunlight, sweating all over his body, in front of a 500,000+ German crowd. Do you know how hard it was to entertain a German crowd in those days? You had to scream until blood spilled all over your mic. WTF is this? Can't even do 10% of that in an indoor arena. I don't surprise if she broke her throat in couple of months if she not stay in her range 😂

Speaking from a place of concern, so whether I can do it, or do it better, is irrelevant. The reason for voicing an opinion about her voice cracking isn’t to take a shot at her, but rather out of concern for the health of her voice. Under the stress and the amount of scrutiny she is under right now, I think it’s much more likely she is overlooking basic vocal hygiene and pushing herself further than she normally would musically because she feels she has something to prove. The fact is, she shouldn’t feel that way. She should sing these songs her way. She’s already in the band so screw what people are saying. She needs to put herself and her craft first.

M Shadows and Corey Taylor are 2 notable singers that will admit they messed up their chords with improper techniques at different stages in their careers, so I agree completely that the pros can also screw up and anyone saying she'll be fine because she's a pro is delusional.
