First song in LP, first concert back after 7 years, surprise concert, and also the first reveal to the world of her being in LP. There was so much pressure on her (and the band, but especially her) during this concert, and especially this song, that if she weren't terrified she'd be an idiot 😂
@@IceMetalPunk right? It's LP's first original song in ages and she needed to fill the boots of fuckin' Chester, against the crowd's expectations. She did very well, all things considered.
I’m definitely excited about Linkin Park’s rebirth, and I do support it. I’ve never wanted to be one of those people who decry this kind of thing and create negativity. When artists still have more to give with their songwriting, I think they deserve to continue their true calling.
When I watched this whole concert, I was in shock, is Emily even human? She has a beautiful voice, she switches her voice very quickly from screaming to singing, and the way she screamed, not many people can even speak after that, and she continued to sing, bravo👏🏻
Thankyou for being kind to Emily, she really deserves it Also she has come so far since this debut performance, I saw them in London the other week and the whole band was incredible
She's amazing. I've been watching her live performances on the Linkin Park World Tour for a few weeks now. She's a brilliant. She has great chemistry with the band.
If you dig deeper in her singing style evolution with Dead Sara, her covers and collaboration with other artists and now with LP, they are totally different singing styles. It shows the depth of her vocal talent and how she can adapt to different types of music.
Emily is pure 🔥🔥🔥🔥 and she's gotten more confident with each show. I get sick only by thinking about all those feelings while on the livestream, I wouldn't have been able to sing a single thing. About the scientology thing, I really don't think she's into that. Lots and lots of hints here and there, it's a matter of doing your homework but even so.... who cares, I love her vocals!!! Great reaction!
She´s been my favourit singer for well over 10 years. Finally she´s getting the recognition she deserves. Please listen to "Sorry for it all" or "For you I am"
This, her first introduction to the masses was not really a good barometer for her abilities....understandably, she was quite apprehensive and nervous, even shedding some tears and breaking her voice in emotion on the song Waiting For The End. In the subsequent shows, she became better as she was able to relax a bit more. Imagine the huuuuuuuuuuge shoes she was going to fill, I would be terrified.
@@T_K_W most people who hate wouldn't even dare to go on the stage she did so well, idk how you can't like her voice. I get it, it's not Chester but doesn't mean people have to be negative about her
Love how your face pretty much mirrors mine every time Emily gives it some grit! Loving her range, power and ability to mix it up. Totally should check out Heavy is the Crown (new live version released from London) and the studio version - and also My December, Lost and Waiting for the End for softer and incredible emotions! Also sooo many amazing performances with Dead Sara! As an aside, would love to know the trick to grit - failing miserably :D

I love this song and Emily fits so well with the group. I hope she keeps working out. You could tell she was nervous in this concert. She has her own style. You can tell she's not to replace Chester but it's good that she has a clean scream.
Emily was the singer for Dead Sara, they have some fantastic songs and she has a great range - heavy punkish and some softer songs, recommend Weatherman, Lemon Twist and Anybody
I would really like to hear your thoughts on some of the classic Linkin Park stuff she performed on that first live stream, especially some of the heavier bits like One Step Closer and particularly Faint. A lot of people in the comments were...concerned...or perhaps a little smug (as in look at her, she can't sing) with some of her voice cracking. But after looking at some Dead Sara stuff, it seems to me like that's just how her voice works, with emotions and nerves piled on top. She certainly hasn't slowed down any on the recent live shows. Would really like a professional's opinion on it. Every other vocal expert I've seen on it has either done the studio version or the live of Emptiness Machine, which was the first song of the set with her fresh.
I'm a big Emily fan, remember liking Dead Sara! I'm glad LP decided to continue and I'm hoping Emily is a good fit offstage - she seems to have the performances nailed. Also think it was good to have a female vocalist that has grit and growl; this way the band has evolved while still retaining most of its signature sound.

they have been missing in the world for to long
ive heard everything now about emily i just hope it doesnt get to her and she put out great songs with the linkin park team
the difference between her and chester tho she seems to be kinda of the rockier one and not as hearth full (even tho she can sing like that) as chester was with there songs
i just hope she can express her self in that groupe like he did
I think she amazing, obvs never replace Chester but she just amazing, I do didn’t know they where back only when my sister told me 😊
