At the end of the announcement everyone is gonna be like "we waited 6 months for this?". It won't make sense as to why we had to wait like they tried to convince us.
Agreed, who really cares? Now, more people can enjoy a game that has some of the worst devs in the industry. Releasing it on the console doesn't solve any problem except maybe the population issue.

I hope they do something huge for this game. I used to play after work daily. Now I log in and play for about 15-20 minutes and I’m bored. I took another month break and came back to an almost empty server. I was on the most populated server when I took my break too. I love this game but they’re killing it slowly

just watched the new trailer for the Oct release. In the opening scene, am I noticing new land to the North of what would be the existing map?

Now that it’s on console it will take even longer to fix all the broken patches they will forever keep releasing
It's hilarious nobody is talking about this. How can ags deal with patching consoles as well as trying to keep up with the PC version

Not sure how making it available for console is supposed to make a bad game better. The lack of players isn't the thing that's wrong with NW. The lack of players is because of the game itself. They are still breaking major things every time they make any minor change. They still haven't fixed the main issues with the game, being a complete lack of actual end game loops. It's still the same 3 year old OPR map. It's still lacking one of the most basic, fundamental systems of MMO that is match making. The "progression" is such trash that all they can think of doing is increasing gear score caps yet again. PVP still has no actual purpose overall, regardless of it being fun combat. Wars mean nothing other than money for the largest guilds. They don't have any real purpose nor do they affect the game overall. They are extremely exclusive to a small part of the population anyway. A response to this "announcement" they are going to make (let's face it, we've ALL known it was going console for a very long time now) can be summed up by quoting Boss Man Jay right from this video: "If the update is bad, the game might die. I don't think it's going to be bad. I think it's going to be okay." Ummmm....Just "okay" is about 500 levels below what NW needs to save it's future...or even have one. Just "okay" would be a MASSIVE let down and failure on the part of the devs. Again. Going console just buys a little time while the new players speed level to end game just to find out there is no real goal or purpose there. The sad part is there simply are no good current MMOs out there :(

Apparently the game is a mess I've been reading
Fresh start servers for the consoles are a given. AGS will not mix PC and console players in the same server. Most games have separate servers for PC and console.
It is just a last minute money grab from console. The devs already ruined the game and their brand name, so probably not that many console players interested.
If it doesnt have big pvp content im not coming back

So what? It comes to consoles, yeah.. and? The game failed on PC massively. Console players will drop it after 2-3 months too. The game needs one thing only, and thats a weapon / armor enchanting system like any other MMO and done. Farming stuff and running dungeons to get mats for upgrades will make your grind worthfully, cuz now you are grinding for literally nothing. Zero goals. Thats it. One thing and the game is fixed.

Your comment is incorrect. Lots of ppl play console and dont even own a pc. The amount of players console will bring in will be a massive number
I really enjoyed this game leveling from 0-65 and most of the changes since launch. The combat has really been enjoyable. I hope this helps the game.

Dlss wouldnt work with consoles, they are built on amd, so if anything they would get FSR support, better if they add both so all pc gamers arent left behind.
