All PlayStation Startups (PS1, PS2, PSX, PSP, PS3, PS Vita, PS4, PS5)

- All the startups from over the years.
This is an updated video, now with the PS5 included. I originally didn't include the PSX, which is technically a PlayStation console, so now that's also been included. I also added the 2 different PS4 startups, one from the UI before firmware update 4.00 and after.
Most of the startups are in 1080p, some in 60fps and 50fps. I put the highest quality for all I could find. None are in 2160p because I don't have that kind of computing power.
Some may argue that the PSX wasn't really a different console. It was just a PS2 with a hard disk for recording and it was sold exclusively in Japan. However, it does have it's own startup, and it's still technically a PlayStation so it's been included.

Even without nostalgia it's just a damn good startup sound
I like the PS1 startup. I don’t like the PS2 startup.
Plus with the fact that you can combine them by inserting a PS1 game in a PS2 and I believe this is possible due the PS2 having 2 BIOSes. One is the PS2 BIOS and the other is the PS1 BIOS so you can use backwards compatibility.
This also means that PS2 does have the weird "errors" from PS1 but just not accessible since the PS1 BIOS only appears when a PS1 disk was inserted but you cannot use the BIOS menu from PS1 nor can you see the first startup chime either. Some people do claim to have seen and heard PS1's personified fear and fearful harmony on PS2.
