And there will be only one game to play. Did you also notice how the games started disappearing. The PS1and 2 generation had tons of games and the 4 only had 2 games as each game has become too expensive to buy.

Remember back in the day, when you would put in a game and just Play? every time I start a game or turn on my PS3/4/Xb1 its Update City. then the game has to update.
Game development has become more complex and we as "gamers"/consumers demand power and performance more than ever. We want everything 4K and 60fps now, so consoles as we knew back then are gonna disappear.

Ahh mannn I miss PlayStation home. Coming home from school and going into my virtual life and meeting people on there and making friends. So much so that we met at the same time after school every day at the same place and just talked. About our individual lives and school lives etc.. Man what a memory. I miss it so much.
Oh yeah, Playstation Home...I used to play it with my friends, I always grabbed the free stuff that was available and partied at that nightclub or whatever that Singstar place was.
I love how the camera zooms in with the first generation of EACH playstation, then pans out and shows us the second generation. Like from PS one original to ps one, from ps2 "fat" to ps2 slim, from PS3 fat to PS3 slim, and ofcourse PS4 in the end. Such a brilliant video. This 3 minute plus video sums up 20 years of Playstation, 20 years of my life with Sony, and indeed, it is a good one.
20 years of your life? you wouldnt have been old enough to have a ps1 since youve admitted to not being that old. Maybe 15-17 years of your life but i dont 20
Thank you PlayStation, for always being there in almost every moment in my life. I remember when I was about 12 or so, when my brother bought the ps2, we would always play together and we would stay up til 4 in the morning or so trying to beat games almost every day. It was amazing. When my girlfriend broke up with me about a year later, my brother noticed I was a bit down. He offered to play time splitters with me to get it off of my mind. And It worked :). I then bought my own. And I loved it. I would always try to collect millions of games, but my brother always collected more than me. And I never knew where he got them from. When I had bad days at school, I would go home and turn on the playstation, get comfortable and kick back and relax and get my mind off of things. Playstation has been there for so much memories in my life. From nights where me and my friends pulled pranks on houses and ran inside and played ps2 and relaxed and went back outside to prank more, to when we wanted to battle each other in a war game. Sony, I will always love you for being a childhood piece of me. Thank you for everything you've done for us gamers. You understand that the memories mean a lot to us and you want to keep those memories great and happy. I can't wait to see what lies ahead for Playstation 4. So much memories await for us all for these next 5-7 years. And I can already tell it's gonna be a good generation of console gaming.
Ryan Lane I'm 15 now and when I was 7-11 I used to jump in my ps2 and later when ps3 came I ran home from school and jumped in my bed to play the playstation and now ps4 pro crying in tears :')
They sure did. I stil use my ps1. Cant get enough of spyro and crash. And grand turismo stil the best racing game ever. 1 and 2. The new one to ps4 is just rubbish.
PS1: not born PS2: 4 years PS3: 11 years PS4: 16 years PS5: 23 years Damn, how time flies... I even remember playing Sonic Adventure on the DreamCast, it was the first game that I ever played, followed by Jak & Daxter when the PS2 came out. It hurts me, in a very nostalgic way
I was a child when ps1 came out. 5 or 6 for Crash bandicoot. It was a big deal. I had demo 1! 😂 Was 8 when Resident evil came out. Around 6 for Tomb Raider. It was something else when the PS1 came out, everyone was in awe!
Please enjoy your 20's... You have your late 30's, 40's,50's,60's,70's,80's,90's to play video games... Just play casually and go out and make memories with friends.
I remember all the good times me and my brothers played on the PlayStation 1, 2, 3 and 4. I miss those days now that they moved out and started living their own lives. Thankfully, I always keep in touch with them.

Can't stop laughing.. I once noted Cheat Codes for a game on last page of my science notebook and used it while playing the game. All went well until I placed notebook back in box along with console. From next day onwards my science notebook was officially lost and I had to get xerox of notes. Final exams came, got over and when I pulled console box out in summer vacation to play again... I couldn't stop laughing. Oh boy.. those were the days.
@F4rt1ng D0G Because nowdays technology has improved alot and you can take screenshot or use internet and save alot time is bad thing? If you want then you can still do like back in then that you writed codes to paper... And btw where did you get cheat codes back in then if you didnt use internet?

15 years old in 1995 to 33 years old in 2013. That kid would've been 40 when the PS5 released. Time does fly.
Totally agree with you man, same thing happened to me. Sony is a HUGE part of my childhood and today as well. :) Keep on gaming! :)
